Indeed, it sounds threatening: No more need for the bar scene.. no night out. No dinner. No movie. No.. well, you know what comes next. Meatloaf sang about it and lots of men each weekend want to get there. 

Now with scientific breakthroughs, the bar of the future may be a dance club rave filled with happy women and test tubes, right next to the next shot of alcohol happily flowing into their systems.

Sure, the story says that men who are infertile can now be helped with the new discovery.. but really, men, you think your infertile bones are what women want? They seek the fertile. The fresh..the healthy.

With all of the twists, turns, and controversies in the Republican race for the 2012 nomination, it's amazing we have come to this road: Ready in Iowa, caucus goers tomorrow are about to end the pronouncements, announcements, corny catch phrases, and all of the mixture in between. Newt Gingrich surged. Herman Cain purged. Michelle Bachmann splurged.. and Ron Paul merged--as a front runner--with Mitt Romney. Rick Perry crashed and burned with his inability to remember his own talking points. And now, as the Iowa season comes to an EAAARRRLLY end (really, January 3 WE BEGIN THIS!?) Rick Santorum is getting perhaps his last shot for primary victory.. new polls show him gaining immense momentum.


Would anyone have thought Rick Santorum and Ron Paul would be the main challenges to Mitt Romney's assumption of the nomination? The establishment may let them have a victory or two in Iowa and New Hampshire. But then expect the machine to begin pumping out the ads come South Carolina, Virginia, and other big states that the Nomination in Waiting can't begin to think about losing.

A net blackout could sure be effective if you think about it

Dramatic action may be taken by popular internet giants.. imagine a day with no Google search.. no Facebook .. Imagine no Tweets.. no Amazon shopping.. All blacked out in an attemmpt to protest SOPA.. it could happen .. the tech companies are considering it.. And it could also be quite effective in opening the net users’ eyes to what SOPA could actually mean in the future when, instead of companies blacking their own sites out, the government does it for them..

Lots of people don’t watch CNN.. or their coverage of new years eve.. but if you missed it this year you didn’t catch Kathy Griffin surprising Anderson Cooper by stripping down to her undersomethings.. she said to Cooper that if Lady Gaga can do it so could she. And she did.

Kathy Griffin may be the one thing that makes CNN’s yearly cover somewhat worthwhile. Clothing or not.

Once again, thousands of dead blackbirds rain down over Arkansas town.. And yes, it was after the fireworks again

.. It feels like groundhogs day. After the year we just had, 12 months of hell and high water, we start this way? 


An earthquake in Japan, an earthquake in New Zealand. 


And to top that all off, now we have this thousands of dead blackbirds! I'm feeling like we are right back where we ended..
