The 1-2-3 lady..tapping quietly outside your window

I have a strange but true tale for you.

A friend of mine works in a legal office, she is a young legal assistant with two children and she works with a number of rational and well intentioned attorneys.

All names will be withheld to protect the innocent. We will just call her Nikki..

The other day I was in Nikki's presents with several of her coworker attorneys when the subject of ghosts and goblins somehow came up. She mentioned that she was thinking about getting a medium in her house.. Why, I asked? Immediately all of the lawyers that were around started to chuckle--They obviously knew the reason why she wanted to get a paranormal expert to browse her abode..

It turns out Nikki has a five-year-old daughter who has been seeing a strange figure out her window on a semi regular basis. This woman, Nikki says, is described by her young daughter is being old and comes whispering a slow and foreboding message while she taps on the window--she whispers 1....2....3 slowly with the beat of her taps on the glass..

Some of the lawyers who doubted Nikki's story looked at me and said 'talk to Bryan about it he's the weird one who listens to paranormal radio.. '. I do listen to paranormal radio, and I do have this website, but I do not believe that gives me any expertise in this subject matter, but I tried to help her instead of just laughing at her situation..

So I asked Nikki "do you believe your daughter"? She responded in the affirmative. I asked next, "does she ever have tall tales or fables or is she reliable to tell you the truth"? Once again Nikki answered in the affirmative, adding that her daughter really never lies and in this matter, when she tells the story about the 123 lady, she appears very serious and her story remains consistent regardless of how many times she tells it.

Now you can go to ways a matter like this. First off you are relying on a child's interpretation of events when you attempt to discern matters such as this. On the other hand, perhaps it is those innocent children with eyes not yet blinded to the other side, who see certain things that adults do not.

I told Nikki that a medium may actually be a good thing, adding that this could be a situation of the old hag or maybe something more foreboding... You see, any quick research on the black-eyed children will reveal that they do not only go to the front door knock but often times stare you through window and many times count and tap requesting entrance.. I told Nikki, while the lawyers laughed at me, that this could be a matter of the black-eyed children. And if it is I warned Nikki to tell her daughter to never let this person in..

The conversation ended as quickly as it began and I am not too sure if my advice really sunk in. After all if you doubt the existence of the afterlife, doubt the existence of another realm, and don't care to find out if there's anything on any other side, there's no rational way to reason with you about matters of this nature.. The lawyers laughed..but maybe Nikki will heed the warning..

The troubling thing about the stories the black-eyed children is that once they show up, sometimes they keep coming back until entrance is made..

If you believe in that sort of thing, that is..

Gee, I wonder who those characters are based off of..?!

It's coming: The worst weekend of the year..

It's here. 
The game is over..
The summer is gone.

I am not a kid anymore.. While it has been more than a decade since I enjoyed those wondrous three months a year off from buses and books and bells, I still recall the feeling .. I don't think those childhood feelings ever vanish. When it snows in the winter, I still gaze at the bottom of my local TV stations to see if schools will be closed, as though it matters.. Work never cancels. 
And even more, I'll say that it's tougher watching those school closings in the winter because the two grade schools and one high school I attended are now all closed. The perils of modern Catholic education: Bankrupt because of priest scandals.. yes, the devil's smoke is in the Vatican.

But I digress, we are not near winter yet.
However it's closings on..


The final weekend of summer (and for some schooling aged kids, you're already back) ...

College is back.. All those joys of summer, jobs flipping burgers--if you were able to get one during this depression...err.. recession... err . . recovery--are now over.. Final paychecks picked up and final books covered.


It's a strange time of year.. 
I have always loved the autumn, as any reader of this site who has followed me for some time know. The problem is, of course, is autumn comes with roadblocks to happiness. That intensely tough feeling of knowing, come Monday, you'll wake up early in the hours when the sun's rising.. you'll brownbag a lunch with help from Mom's incredible sandwich making skills, and you'll board a bus into months of trauma. The bricks will be put in the wall, all in all..


Come college time, that grade school feeling of sickness in your gut goes away a bit. In that age, your drinking friends and sexual partners will be waiting to greet you. Your moral code will slip into depravity. Not for all, but certainly for enough to make it unworthy of caring about your newfound school year attendance.

I care more about those kids.. those young ones.. the children whose minds are going to be molded into something.

So when I read a story like this, of kids being forced to kneel before dismissal, makes me sick. It's bad enough that they have to submit to the rules, often without any sense, but now kneeling before a master? An adult master? This is horrific, in my mind..

So here we go.. school days.
Alice Cooper can't save you now.

The only thing you can do, student, is persevere. Like in SURVIVOR, outwit and outlast.
May will be here before you know it..
Adulthood will, too. 
But adulthood isn't all it's cracked up to be--as a matter of fact, there are days I'd trade it in a heartbeat to be 13 again. 

And finally, no matter how many years pass on by, you'll be amazed that, come August, you're going to get that same 'back to school gut feeling' like you had when you were young and dumb...

Rebels in Syria say that Assad has used chemical weapons against men, women, and children.. causing more than 1,300 deaths they claim. There are some doubts.. France is saying that if it turns out to be true, use of force is necessary.. But according to the latest Associated Press dispatch from Syria, President Bashar Assad's forces pressed on with a military offensive in eastern Damascus on Thursday, bombing rebel-held suburbs where the opposition said a chemical weapons attack the day before killed over 100 people.. Assad's government denied using chemical weapons in Eastern Ghouta..

Homeland Security desk job by day.. and race war prep by night. Anger builds after discovery that Homeland Security employee is getting ready for a coming race war in the United States.. He tried to hide his identity from bosses, but there seems to be no denial as to who he is..




Dramatic new images are being revealed to the world from Assumption Parish in Lousiana.. the massive sinkhole that is only getting bigger is swallowing trees in the Bayou.. and there is now video to show it..

This from "Hurricane" Henry Margusity from Accuweather on his Twitter and Facebook feeds this morning: "It's the oddest weather ever, but both the GFS and ECMWF show a double tropical attack on So Cal and the Southwest next 10 days." .. That would be interesting and extremely rare.. and almost freaky. Although if rain can somehow help control those raging wildfires, that would be amazing on the higher power's part, don't you think? If there is one..

Yes, indeed, technology will soon be able to read minds.. Coming software uses brain scans to identify exactly what people are looking at..

A lot of towns have trick or treat nights on Sundays, or on other dates besides October 31.. so when I read about Upper Allen Township near Harrisburg, PA, deciding to have Halloween on Halloween, it made me happy.. The way it should be..


Christmas in October.. Halloween in August. TIME magazine is right that we rush everything.. but I always enjoy seeing Halloween candy and costumes be sold at the same time as back to school clothes.. And for kids, the seasonal glory of autumn buffers the bad news of school being back again..

A major gas attack in Syria has apparently killed scores of innocent men, women, and children.. Reports from the scene describe sheer horror

There are images like this now being seen all across the world.. They appear to show the corpses of children who died in the reported gas attack..



According to reports, children were convulsing and foaming from the mouth before death..

Some are casting doubt on the news..

The only reason for suspicion is timing.. The allegations come as a U.N. group arrived in Syria this week to determine whether either side in the conflict is using chemical weapons.

We are seeing something big occurring..

And if 1300 or more died in this type of horrendous act, the world will surely have to respond.. Right?

This story about kids being forced to kneel down before dismissal at a San Bernardino school really made me sick.

What are we doing in this nation, are we trying to create modern day slavery? Are we trying to make kids from an early age worshiped there supposedly masters?

No marching to the beat of another drum when everyone is on the same bandwagon!
No thinking different, we frown on..

It is time to be a brick on the wall and not a wallflower, don't be a catcher in the Rye, that is just too out there..

Yes indeed this story made me sick.
Children should be molded to respect adults, but any adult that once children to kneel before them should have no respect given to them and should have their brains checked because there is something seriously wrong..

The eleven year cycle is in full bloom.. The sun today unleashed a very strong solar flare--and it is directly heading towards earth.. MORE HERE FROM SPACE.COM 

NASA estimates indicate that the flare left the sun at 570 miles per second.. The projection of time will be two to three days before the particles reach the planet Earth..

According to experts, the cloud from the CME is NOT expected to hit earth directly,  but the planet will be moving through the cloud's wake..
