Believe me, me, and no one else believes that an earthquake caused what we are hearing. We heard this before the day that the government told us the quake even happened! And other towns, too? we are all wondering if it is fracking or something else. We just are not buying into this official story that this mystery is 'solved'Thanks.. reader.. Love it. As I stepped out of my front door into the pre-dawn darkness I braced myself for the cold shock of a mid-March morning. It didn't come. A warm, murky atmosphere, with temperatures in the upper fifties — 30 degrees above normal – greeted me instead. Continuous flashes of heat lightning lit up the horizon, as the atmosphere crackled with the energy of distant thunderstorms. I looked up at the hazy stars above me, flashing in and out of sight as lightning lit up the sky, and thought, this is not the atmosphere I grew up with.
The only snow cover east of the Rockies is across northern Maine. I have not seen snow gone so early in 25 yrs of Forecasting

City officials say they have investigated every possible human cause. They checked water, sewer and gas lines, contacted the military about any exercises in the area, reviewed permits for mining explosives and inspected a dam next to city hall. They even tested methane levels at the landfill in case the gas was spontaneously exploding.
