Before rolling through the day, here's a few headlines of importance from the world at large..

Ghost tours on steroids in Kentucky, as developers are going to turn an old tuberculosis hospital where thousands of people died into a hotel and convention center.. It's called the Waverly Hills. The official website for the attraction calls it the most haunted place on earth. That's quite a statement--but undoubtedly lots and lots of people would book their rooms and love to stay for a weekend.. Here is the Waverly Hills Sanitorium Facebook page..

On a site note, turning former hospitals of death and distress into haunted locations for profit has not been something I typically favor. I wrote a scathing article on Pennhrust last year .. Looking back, perhaps I wasn't completely fair to them, or others who do the same, as long as the owners preserve the history of the location and respect the dead. . But deep down, there's something in my that tingles when I hear of a location where so much grief occurred will now be a place for people wearing ridiculous outfits to go and have a 'fun night out' .. I will stop now or this will turn into another lenghtly post..

CDC, what the hell are you doing? First the mishandling of anthrax and now the bird flu? Some may say you're doing it on purpose..

For anyone paying any attention to the Atlantic City scene, there's something very important happening: Casinos are shutting down. The unheard of fact is becoming very commonplace, the elderly are drying up (no pun intended) and the tourism is suffering. Plus casinos in Pennsylvania, right near me, now attract those seniors who once went on three hour bus tours to the Jersey shore.. The latest casino to close looks to be Trump Plaza--and this is the fourth! There's something inside my that wonders if Atlantic City will become the next Asbury Park.. Towering but vacant buildings, a beach with no one on ..The once fabled Atlantic City is currently in free-fall form .. And summer business is bad. Maybe it's time for Bruce Springsteen to write a new song.

Ain't that America.. I missed this story when it was published in June by the Washington POST but it's just as important now: Massachusetts SWAT teams claim they’re private corporations, immune from open records laws.. That's a big deal.. and just awful if they win.

42% of Millennials claim they are socialists. But only 16% of them know what it means. The ignorance, the arrogance, the stupidity .. America was once great. Now it's a cheap date for other nations that will look for resources and real estate. The dumbing down is not happening, current time.. it happened.

Cleveland goes wild after it's announced LeBron James would be returning to the Cavaliers.. You know, the same fans who burned his jersey years ago? Who hated him? They love him. Meanwhile the world burns, and Americas are busy caring about soon to be washed up basketball players earning millions more a second than most humans.. I bet most would have not been able to answer one question about Syria, Israel, Ukraine, or the emerging police state in the United States.

I have been finding a lot of gems of horror movies on NETFLIX recently.. apparently I am not the only one.. Here's a listing of good horror sleepers on the service. Even a mention of ZOMBIE ASS: TOILET OF THE DEAD.. that one I didn't try yet.

Friday night lights: Very important news you probably don't know about

Around 4pm today, my email got several messages from reliable sources and news orgazniations about a major 6.8 quake striking Fukushima--with a tsunami warning sounding.. Something still 20th century in my brain made me turn on the TEE VEE networks immediately. Nothing.. the large-headed money men were on FOX talking about the markets and how illegal immigrants will ruin their chances for success.. MSNBC was going on most likely about Chris Christie or an obscure Republican who they say hates women.. CNN's WOLF BLITZER, at least, was the only one actually reporting news from the Gaza Strip. But no mention anywhere of this notable event.. an earthquake hitting where a nuclear disaster is ongoing.

But that's not the only piece of information that major news folks have ignored over the past 24 or so hours.. Some very notable events are occurring on this planet--and beyond--that are bigger than any one political blip on the conventional news radar..

Before moving on to the rest of the scares, some information about FUKed-ashima for a minute.. The 6.8 jolted Japan and the initial tsunami warning that sounded was lifted without incident. Also if you believe TEPCO, there were no abnormalities today at Fukushima despite the strong earth movement--if you believe TEPCO. And hell, even if there were no issues today there is the constant and ongoing crisis in slow motion that is Fukushima.

But at least there's a bit of a sigh of relief..

Traveling quite a bit away from Japan's series of bad luck events, Yellowstone National Park is seeing some abnormalities worth mentioning (of course unless you're on a major news network) .. Roads are melting and turning into a 'soupy mess.' This is often normal, we are told.. But not this time. The park spokesman Dan Hottle, told media organizations that bothered to ask today this: The liquefying of pavement that is now occurring is extreme and unusual. A caveat was added, when Hottle said, "But it’s hard to tell if a thermal area is hotter than normal, because it’s always fluctuating here. Road closures are business as usual for us"

Park officials are discussing how to address the problem, especially since we're in the midst of the Yellowstone summer tourism season. And let's not forget recent history: Yellowstone shook in April, March, and several times in between. There was debate in early spring over whether animals were truly running for their lives or just running. Maybe they were avoiding melting roads.. Things got so 'hot' that in April, scientists were forced to say there were no reasons to worry about Yellowstone blowing. I have not seen the same scientists comment since the new information of melting roads were reported, nor are they talking much lately about earthquakes resuming along the magma chamber ..

Another piece of science information that has received little press today: Scientists 'have no handle' on distant radio bursts coming from deep space.. It's a mysterious fast radio burst.. It's from outside our galaxy--far outside our galaxy. Could this be a burst of some unknown origin ...or an alien saying 'can ya hear me now?' ...scientists are baffled. So there's no way I would conjecture anything the bursts may be..

And if all this was not enough, there's one last thing to pay close attention to: Earth's magnetic field flip could happen much sooner than expected.. It may even be happening now! Life during wartime.. and pole shifts. It could happen.

And PLANET OF THE APES is expected to be number 1 this weekend. So ignore all of the bad and just have some fun.

Suffer the children: Horror on repeat, over and over and over again

A real headline from the UK PRESS is creating a huge stir: "'Powerful elite' of at least 20 establishment figures may have been part of paedophile ring that abused children for decades"

It sounds sensational.. but did the story of Jimmy Savile, the once living devil from hell itself who raped children and got away with it.. It recently came out that Savile also most likely was having sex with dead bodies ..

For those under rocks on this front, Savile was an English DJ, television presenter, media personality and charity fundraiser.. It was a high profile and influential figure.

A new book written by Dan Davies called IN PLAIN SIGHT describes how Savile groomed an entire nation.. England loved him. While they did, he was brutally raping children, dead corpses, as young as 8, and the epitome of revulsion.

But maybe Savile's sins are just a part of the story, as new information seems to suggest. It could go much, much deeper.. and if true, an exposed, would rock a royal family or two.

The DAILY MAIL article describes a potential pedophile ring and how 20 establishment figures from the 'powerful elite' may have been involved.. Among the allegations swirling: Several abusers are judges. And people linked to the British Royal Family. Childrens' homes, it's been reported, were simply supply lines for the secret proclivities of pedophiles..

According to Peter McKelvie, a former child protective manager, a large number of people also know of the abuse but did nothing..

While things of this nature could have been dismissed decades ago, consider the news that happened during our lifetime: The Catholic Church and other major religions were effectively run by criminals at times, raping and devouring the innocent lives of children, and hiding it in plain sight. Penn State University had a coach who was raping boys in the shower room in plain sight.. And Jimmy Savile, the heinous creature who walked this planet, was a scourge to any child he met, such as those he repeatedly 'visited' at a now closed home in Woodhouse Evans..

Another notable event in history: The Franklin Credit Union cover up.. And the actions of Lawrence King, who reportedly supplied an endless amount of boys from Boys Town, to high profile pedophiles in the government and business during the 1980s.. Johnny Gosch has even been rumored to have been abducted by that ring..

There have been about 32 mass grave sites of children found in Canada.. Also there have been 350,800 missing children found in grave sites across the world..

There is a lot of bad information out there along with the facts.. Innuendo and rumor meant to drum up a scandal.. but so often the truth is stranger--and more horrifying--than fiction.. The HORROR REPORT will continue to watch this story as it develops.. and try to find reliable and credible sources of information..

A new day in the life of America: As the world turns

Back int he 1980s my mother got my father a book called A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AMERICA. My dad tucked it away, and I found it. . Maybe it's theft, but it has become one of my favorite personal possessions. The book documented one day, MAy 2, 1986. About 200 photographers scoped out scenes and sights across the United States, snapping tons of photos.. Many of them made this amazing 6 pound book. I find the idea of this book amazing.. and at the same time extremely sad. Time is gone in the blink of an eye.. I often skim through this book and think to myself of all those things that mattered so long ago in 1986, on that day.. in the lives of the people photorgaphed. I wonder often how many are still alive.. what ever became of the children in the book.. what happened to the couple slow dancing in St. Petersburg.
And I fast forward to now: We document our own lives. On Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter.. COllectively we post millions of photos a day, if not more.. The NSA also keeps track, along with the Facebook servers that supposedly never delete anything *unless it's deemed offensive, like women breast feeding* .. But the DAY IN THE LIFE OF AMERICA, if not the world, is now being written by us.
That doesn't mean time is any less fleeting, however, nor does it mean that our lives are any less fast.

And speaking of time, you don't have much of it. And it's a magazine.
Here's the news that is documentatable in some form from the world and beyond. Presented in timeless links that may not matter much, and certainly did not matter on May 2, 1986:

The summer of the future doesn't look fun.. Visit the site and click on the map, it will chart your closest city and tell you what the future may be like. Harrisburg PA will be more like San Antonio Texas.. So the theory goes. By 2100.

The safety net is thin.. But if it wasn't for it, 70 million people would be starving in the streets. And that's not a good thing--if the safety breaks for any reason, things really get bad.

Seriously, this is now our policy? State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki is on record .. she was asked if the Ukrainian army as the right to hurt innocent civilians.. she said: "The Ukrainian authorities are protecting the country. I think they have to have every right to do it, it is the same way to act in the international community." Peace.

Hezbollah says that ISIL (ISIS) is a trademark of America and sponsored by US elements to further divide the Middle East. And on that note, 'Syrian Girl' thinks the same. In the mean time, ISIS has destroyed the Tomb of Jonah.

When a government says a UFO is a UFO

An amazing event occurred today.. a UFO sighting took place in Chile.. it was spotted my mine workers and was flying low for over an hour.

The Chilean government released the photos saying the object was not one of their craft.. as a matter of fact, they themselves say it's a true blue UFO.. Real thing. Whether it's being driven by aliens or not is besides the point.. the point is that the government of Chile released this images with the note that it is a UFO..

Digging a bit deeper logically on this: Chile is saying that the object is no known craft .. And as said previously, that statement in itself should in no way propel one to conclude that the craft is being driven by grays above mine workers in the nation. The UFO could always be a drone, a secret spy plane..

Hell, even NASA is creating a flying saucer as a future craft for a Martian expedition..

But again--and most important--the images of this UFO did not come from fabricated sources online or YouTube videos.. it's from the government of Chile.

That should mean something. Right?

Just when you thought you knew everything there was to know about Mars.. you don't

Could it be!? The dry and barren red planet could have had water.. maybe had water.. but does it still have it!?

Maybe..

According to earth-shattering, or should we say Mars-shattering, new research, water in the liquid form can exist on the planet during the spring and summer months for a few hours at a time.

This controversial news is from a study conducted by the University of Michigan. They apparently created a special chambers to imitate conditions on the surface of the red planet.

But it's a theory. Like all theories..

And really, the Mars rovers--to our knowledge--has presented no information to show any free-flowing liquid on the planet--though we have been privy to images with glowing lights and rodent looking creatures, right?

I have often wondered if water exists on the surface of Mars, directly below the surface..?
While there's no scientific evidence to back it up, there also is nothing more than 'research' to back up the new claims of potential water existing on the planet in the live form now.

But with all the things we don't yet know about Earth, it is not beyond imagination to presume that we know hardly anything about anywhere else, too..

But just a few more things to note about this University of Michigan research: The prime reason it even took place is because Nilton Renno took a professorship at the University in 2012. He was from NASA. So .. that leads me to put a bit more credence into the information being plausible.

So what do we know?
NOTHING.

But the theories sure are amazing to contemplate..
