George Bush Sr may not think Americans can handle the truth about UFOs. But he sure did not say that regardless of what websites told you so

A popular conspiracy website (http://yournewswire.com/george-bush-senior-on-ufos-americans-cant-handle-the-truth/) rolled out an article days ago reporting a quote from George Bush Sr. The site reported,

An activist/journalist asked when the US government would tell the truth about UFOs, but the answer George Bush Snr gave took the crowd and reporters completely by surprise

He replied: “Americans can’t handle the truth” before the questioning was briefly halted by the event organizers.

While Your News Wire seemingly is getting most of the attention regarding the story, the real article that began it all is here on World news Daily Report. You know, the website that reports strange pieces of un-funny satire that when you see your friends link on Facebook you squirm because they think it's real.

The other day, this site was linked on one person's Facebook page. The story was about a vaccine making a girl pregnant. My friend was angry, stating that "why isn't anyone realizing this girl is lying about having sex?"

Sigh..Out loud.

The Bush story would be interesting. It may also be real in the sense that he could harbor such feelings about aliens, and UFOs. After all, the long held belief is that Bush Sr., a CIA man himself, knows the secrets..and where the aliens are buried, crafts are crashed, and bodies are counted. Of course, the very idea that a former president and living statesman would loudly state that Americans can't handle the truth about aliens, should be front page news!

It's not.. Because it didn't happen.

This is how the report from World News Daily Report went,

In hope of helping his son’s Jeb Bush struggling presidential campaign, George Bush Sr and former president George W. Bush have been campaigning behind the presidential candidate in hopes of bringing the Bush family’s name once again behind the Oval office, but some experts believe this kind of incident could cost him the race.

During the fundraiser, a man in the crowd raised a strange question which led to an even more surprising response by the former president and CIA director. The man asked George Bush Sr when the US government would tell Americans the truth about UFOs, to which he responded: “Americans can’t handle the truth” before the questioning was briefly halted by organizers of the event.

I heard an expert say a few weeks ago on Art Bell's show that giant asteroids would most likely be known if they were close to earth.

I guess not all of them, eh?

I read a Talkers.com article yesterday, one also posted by Art Bell, about fans of the talk radio show host joining together through social networking to do advertising on his behalf.The way that Bell has regained his notoriety and fame has become quite an organic and real process.

A few years ago, a post was entered onto Bellgab.com, then Coastgab. The poster said “Art Bell Quits Coast” on the forum, and the thread became a multi-year drama.

Bell quit Coast to Coast AM and Premiere. This website, the HORROR REPORT, has documented the long process from George Noory telling Bell fans that “he’s done folks” to Bell’s return to Sirius and then quit exit. And now speedy return (2 years delayed because of the Sirius non compete) to the netwaves and airwaves.

And now, what exists after all of this time, is a nightly-must-listen.

Bell keeps listeners’ attention with his style of broadcasting. Listening to him gives you the feeling that nothing much has changed since the 1990s—Bell is as good as ever.

The last two times Bell left the air was after a Halloween show, in 2010 and 2013.

If we make it through October, Midnight will survive.

Shocking news from the outer limits of space..

As though we couldn't be more shocked by Pluto, we are. The news this time: The distant non planet planet dwarf planet has skies and icecaps that are similar to earth itself..

NASA's own website showcased the amazing photos beamed back to planet Earth by NEW HORIZONS. In the attached article, NASA writes,

“Who would have expected a blue sky in the Kuiper Belt? It’s gorgeous,” said Alan Stern, New Horizons principal investigator from Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), Boulder, Colorado.

The haze particles themselves are likely gray or red, but the way they scatter blue light has gotten the attention of the New Horizons science team. “That striking blue tint tells us about the size and composition of the haze particles,” said science team researcher Carly Howett, also of SwRI. “A blue sky often results from scattering of sunlight by very small particles. On Earth, those particles are very tiny nitrogen molecules. On Pluto they appear to be larger — but still relatively small — soot-like particles we call tholins.”

Water isn't as limited as we once thought.

While many have said water is either flowing or frozen on Mars, NASA finally came out this month at a press conference to confirm what many others believed for decades: Water flows on Mars.

This new information about Pluto gives rise to places like Saturn's moon Titan. It also gives hope that other planets close to us (close in space miles) may have the building blocks of life.

We don't much know anything. Do we?
But while we learn how little we know, we open the door to something amazing with each new discovery of flowing water..

A visit to any website dot com any day dot net will reveal that the org is all goofed up. It's the same news regardless of the writer

If there is a writer. Often it's a robot that picks the 'content' (not information anymore, that's so 20th century)..

I go to countless horror sites that advertise on behalf of these companies. They praise the gorefests and drum up interest in the useless remakes and trivial pursuit of mental vacancy..

They praise drill bit rape scenes in American Horror Story. I suppose since the Lady who plays the countess who should actually be called Gagme does it, it gets a seal of approval.

But what is pop culture now? What is the net? A bastion of freedom and independent thought or instead a massive array of groupthink coupled with Gifs and social networking bytes that have characters but no character..

Is this getting old to anyone else too?

Because it sure is to me.

If that doesn't interest you, perhaps children snacking on a tourist would...

Okay.. certainly you'd think this is the most shocking: The 'Addiction Demon,' which attacks a woman and brutally rapes her with a dildo made from drill bits..

Perhaps if that doesn't shock you, then Hollywood has effectively done their job: Killed your sense of emotions and morality.

This is a particularly horrid situation and to think of caskets with corpses rising from the ground is macabre and somehow perfectly timed for the Halloween season..

Knowing people in South Carolina, I can attest second hand to the ongoing nightmare on streets and in towns… The waters will recede but the heartache will remain..

And now the unexpected task of reburying those long in the ground previously… That’s perhaps the more morose of all..

The threat indicated that the violence would take place Monday at 2 p.m., according to statements posted on several school websites.
The statement on Drexel’s site indicated that the threat came via social media.
“Since the shooting last week at a community college in Oregon, the FBI has seen similar social media postings throughout the country,” the Drexel posting reads.
The statement posted on Penn’s website reads: “In an abundance of caution we are working closely with Federal and local Law Enforcement Agencies to monitor this unspecified threat The Division of Public Safety has increased our police, security officer and CCTV patrols.”
The schools also said in their statements that security patrols would increase on campus Monday.
The schools will be operating normally on Monday, but the statements urge students to report any suspicious activity.

Good article. My thoughts:

I may not always appreciate the actual type of horror given to us by Eli Roth, but it’s creative and new.. it’s also, as the WASHINGTON POST says, paving the way for horror films of the future..

There are two points of the POST article I’d like to give emphasis to..

First:

Another year later, “The Green Inferno” is finally hitting theaters through an arrangement with Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions, which has stamped its imprimatur on franchise hits including “Paranormal Activity,” “Insidious,” “The Purge” and “Sinister.” Released under Blum’s new BH Tilt label, the film opened in wide release without an expensive marketing campaign, relying instead on a viral push that taps into Roth’s considerable fan base while eking the most out of modest returns at the box office. (It earned $3.5 million in its opening weekend.) The online strategy seems entirely in keeping with a film that includes the Twitter handle of every cast and crew member in the closing credits. And it also minimizes expectations for the type of extreme horror movie that has fallen out of fashion but has long been Roth’s stock-in-trade.

That is pretty amazing if you consider it.. the Twitter names of all of the stars. That is brilliant and new, in this modern age, it also gives people a reason to stick around for the credit and get their smart phones out..

The other point is about the GREEN INFERNO itself:

How edgy and dangerous exactly? “The Green Inferno” is Roth’s attack on what he calls “slacktivists,” those socially conscious collegians who opine about the issues-of-the-day on social media but approach them with minimal commitment or depth. As punishment, Roth sends a group of them to the Amazon rainforest, where a mission intended to protect an indigenous tribe from developers ends with the same tribe killing most of them and serving at least one for dinner.

“People get involved in a cause in ‘The Green Inferno’ not because they care about saving the Amazon but because they want credit for saving the Amazon,” says Roth, who likens it to the hashtag activism of #Kony2012, #FreePussyRiot and #BringBackOurGirls. “They’re not happiest when they shut down the developers. They’re happiest when they’re trending on Twitter and when they make the front page of Reddit. That’s what I see is going on right now. Everyone’s tweeting the hashtag of the week because they want to look like they care.”

Now that is cutting edge. Pun intended. It is a mockery of our times, an edgy masterpiece of horror that inflicts the pain of social status, creates the burn of unfollowing.. and yes, becomes another example of how horror imitates reality.

I have said many times over, horror movies of any given era will showcase the culture of that time.. (as does pro wrestling) .. in this case, the GREEN INFERNO will be a lesson on the ‘activism’ of our age, the computer wielding folks who quite honestly don’t do anything except type on a screen or phone…thus not changing anything, but just are trying to get followers..

Americans may be out of harm’s way when it comes to Hurricane Joaquin, but the folks across the pond may not be..

This is NOT because of Hurricane Joaquin–that storm is racing to Bermuda and will cause all sorts of hell and havoc . This instead is because of a coastal storm
