It's a dog eat uncle Korea

Remember last month we were told that Kim Jong Un’s uncle was assassinated in North Korea?

It was a big to-do. Even Dennis Rodman was called in for his covert mission back to the nation.
The reports are unsubstantiated at this point, and the fact they are from Chinese media makes things a little more unverifiable..
But..
This is the first time public accounts have been rendered a to how Un did his deed…
What a way to start a new year..

Cold is coming... 1994 style

It is extremely cold right now.. the last time I remember cold this bad was in 1994 when I was 14 years old. I recall stories about rivers suddenly freezing and people suffering. That is back when CNN actually had news on .. Nonetheless, it’s 2014 and 20 years since that cold snap. But looking at this map you see, it may soon get pretty close to what was experience two decades back.  The image is from WeatherBELL’s Ryan Maue.. .. the red color reflects where all weather models are in agreement: It will be below 32 degrees. And in some cases much below 32..  My local forecast actually calls for a high on Monday of 30 some degrees—and the temperature will fall at night to negative 2. That is a 30+ drop in temperatures in just a few hours, and a flash freeze—something that the Midwest is going to experience this weekend as their temperatures go well below 0.  And get this: Hawaii’s high elevations are going to be under the freezing mark, too.  at this point, it’s fair to say that the entire United States from North to South and Alaska and Hawaii included—all 50 states—will be in a deep freeze by next week. That is astounding. Amazing. And freaking freezing.

A question on auras..

I read once that many children can see auras but they're told by their parents that they aren't real. Eventually they just stop seeing them. I guess they sort of push them to the side and ignore them until they go away.
That is the question posed to me in a message.. It’s an interesting theory. There are some who claim this, others who don’t.. Good example of a disagreement may be this website: http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=160191
I always think that children are more open to any experience—especially paranormal.
There are some who scoff at the idea that the paranormal is happening— I get messages all the time on here from people outright laughing at my attention to weird things and the creepier aspects of the universe.
But I think people who laugh and jab at me for how much I focus on it may simply be a bit worried that sometimes things aren’t explained by science..
Maybe one day they WILL be explained. Which means it’s going to go from paranormal to normal.
And yesterday’s paranormal is today’s normal.. and tomorrow’s reality.
It’s all relative I guess.
Back to the auras: I don’t know. I certainly know that I never remembered seeing one.. But that’s the other thing: Memories from childhood become so fuzzy with age.

There are times technology can be used for the worst. And times like this where it's not

Now this is amazing and beyond cool: The World Cup will begin with a mind controlled exoskeleton kick! Wearing a state-of-the-art exoskeleton, a paralyzed teenager will make the ceremonial first kick at the World Cup in Brazil this summer.

A paranormal and snowy night

It's nights like tonight when one gets introspective.. Snow is coming down outside.. not a car in sight.. not even one can be heard in the distance. There has always been something peaceful about a snowstorm during the darkness.. Life itself seems to be on hold--something I find necessary now and then. I feel for those who are stuck in this weather or even though forced to travel to get to a job..

I am writing this post as I see a street light outside my window.. the orange hue is creating a firestorm of snow as it falls from the sky. You won't catch me eating snow in the post Fukushima world, but I may make a snow angel or two tomorrow should Ayden Morris and Mutley the dog choose to play in the conditions..

I also find a quiet snowstorm to be very paranormal..Mysterious.. but reassuring. It's powerful enough to stop traffic and life until roads are cleared, but beautiful enough to remind you that you're not really in charge of anything here..

I am contemplating some strange things tonight--maybe the fact I'm listening to Dave Schrader on DARKNESS RADIO interview someone about children believe they have had past lives.. Or maybe it's because every time it snows it reminds me of the eerie scenes of Stephen King's STORM OF THE CENTURY.. Andre Linoge walks atop the snow somewhere in time.

I don't want to continue to speak about a negative December.. but my God December 2013 was just abysmal personally for my family. It perked up by Christmas. And New Years actually felt good, hope and change is coming. Not the kind Obama promised in 2008.. but the real kind.
I can feel it.

December did end with some paranormal activity in my personal life.. An entity, or spirit.. or gust of wind, made its presence known.  It was perhaps the scariest moment of my life--seeing something unexplained and true, right before your eyes.. witnesses seeing it too only amplify the fact you cannot deny what your eyes just witnessed. I had one of those moments at the end of December..
I don't know if I am going to be the same..
It's because the paranormal is something I've watched from a distance. Something that I always doubted, even though I delve deep into stories about it. I am skeptical by nature..
But the occurrence that happened in my home has no way to be explained.

When you see something happen that you cannot explain, you have a choice: Ignore it, or welcome it. By ignoring it, life can go on.. you can keep laughing at those who believe in such things. Ignoring it means you can stay in your comfort zone. Close your mind and pretend nothing took place.
Welcoming it? That's the tougher part.. That is when you need to discern with logic what your eyes see. While welcoming the idea that something strange happened does not mean you're accepting it was paranormal, it challenges your mind enough to try to understand what it was you saw, witnessed, or experienced.
I am welcoming mine.
I do have video evidence of something happening--but I am holding that close to my vest at this time. I don't want to publish something like that because I am not trying to get attention.
And the only reason I am vaguely speaking about it is because it has been driving me crazy NOT to write about it in some way.

With all that I could say about what I saw, and have on video, I will simply say this: The next time you see that mysterious shadow appear and vanish.. it may be more than a shadow. The next time the house creeks or moans, it may not be your home settling.. the next time your child speaks of memories that they never experienced, it may mean they experienced it somewhere else, some time else..

Ghosts and goblins, UFOs and all that.. 99% is bunk. But if you welcome the 1% your world may change...

Andre Linoge is on the prowl

It is going to be a wild night.. The Weather Channel didn't plan it this way, but this storm is named Hercules
I will admit I love snowy and cold nights--as long as the power stays on, of course. I truly enjoy walking under streetlights while snow steadily falls.

With blizzard conditions, though, it may prove a jarring experience.. Maybe I'll just settle for memories of a more tranquil storm and not brave the sub zero wind chills and heavy snow that is expected to fall.
If things get really haywire, I will avoid the outside altogether.. and cover the windows so I don't have the chance of seeing Andre Linoge walking in the falling snow, looking for what he wants until he goes away..

Be safe if you one of the hundred million or so folks getting prepped for a big storm..

A steaming reactor 3 is bursting the bubble on a new year

The beginning of a year always comes with hope--you can make plans and resolutions. On January 1, everything seems possible..

After I was done the traditional sauerkraut dinner today with family, I began thinking a bit about my own resolutions.  I have some hopes and dreams for better employment, to successful train a child to use a potty, and to attempt to stop a puppy from biting. There are some other personal aspirations that I'd rather not share with the world through a website..

The last thing I want to see are hopes dashed by some God awful world event.. we are victims too often to fate, evil, and plain old bad luck..

So when I saw a link posted on Drudge tonight about the United States government ordering 14 million doses of potassium iodide, it was unsettling. The source, of course, is Alex Jones' INFOWARS.. so there are some big iodized grains of salt I chose to take with the information..but the information shared there is directly from the government's FedBizOpps site..

I figured.. maybe this is normal.. Maybe this is alright.. Just another order on the federal site, and someone paranoid website owner took it the wrong way.

And then there is this.. A plume of mysterious smoke is rising from reactor 3 at Fukushima in Japan.. You can read more from RT.COM on that.

But the information is very, very real..much to the horror of the world--whatever parts of that are actually paying attention to the Fukushima nightmare.
If you think that RT is not a valuable source of information, there are some others you may want to consider on this same developing story:
The ECOLOGIST does take into consideration some other possibilities, besides an apocalyptic meltdown, such as the smoke is happening because rain is hitting stray fuel elements. But the other portions of the story are more troubling: A meltdown may be taking place, or corium has reached groundwater and a complete meltdown has occurred, something that will reach the Pacific Ocean.

I have reported lots of Fukushima since 2011. Even though I have re-posted some horrid news about the events there, including recent information that Japan is not only silencing people telling the truth about the disaster, but also recruiting the homeless to clean up the radioactive mess, I have tried to believe that things will work out.. that Fukushima is a long-distance nightmare, something happening somewhere 'there' and its disturbing developments will not impose pain anywhere else.

But those simply ways to tell myself everything is alright may be out the proverbial window with this information of strange smoke rising.

I am not at the alarmist level just yet, with one of those 'bring out your dead' sources being Turner Radio Network telling people along the West Coast to prepare for an immediate meltdown at Fukushima.

The world was told this by TEPCO: The process of removing spent fuel rods was going to be delicate and dangerous.

There still may be some hope, though.. A website named FUKUSHIMAUPDATE.COM has a story running trying to tame down the flames of fear over the reactor 3 steam.. The site also offered up some more factual information, again, downplaying any cataclysmic event..

So ....all eyes on reactor 3. At least for whatever eyes are looking at it. Unless there are still journalists being told to keep quiet about what is happening at Fukushima..

The beginning of a year always comes with hope--you can make plans and resolutions. On January 1, everything seems possible..

The prophecy of my Sharon-a

There is a prophecy about Ariel Sharon.. Sharon, if you don't know, is a former Prime Minister of Israel and has been in a deep coma since 2006..

As rumors online and prophecies on YouTube videos would portend, the end is nigh when Sharon finally meets his maker and dies..
You can see more from this January 2013 post on BEFORE IT'S NEWS for more information.. Other websites, including this one, claim Sharon's death would mean an imminent return of Christ.. A prophecy from Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri helped brew this recent end times message.. Video here on that.

While the HORROR REPORT strays from such claims of end times and world destruction, we do recognize it as a modern day subject that needs to be paid attention to.

And that is why, this day, January 1 2014, we are greeted with news that may create a frenzied response on prophecy and end time sites across the net:  The medical condition of Ariel Sharon is worsening today.

Regardless of whether Sharon dying means we all meet a Christian maker or not, it's a very important event in world affairs.

WE will be following this event, along with whatever response prophecy sites across the World Widening Web..

The (first) blizzard of 2014

Blizzard-like conditions are likely tomorrow evening for most of New Jersey, the New York City metropolitan area, all of Long Island, most of Delaware, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, all of Rhode Island, and portions of eastern Pennsylvania.

The term “blizzard” is related to windspeed more so than amount of snow.
It will be very cold .. so the snow that falls will be light and fluffy—easy to shovel. But the wind will make it difficult—and ‘blizzardy’ ..
Here’s the latest from ACCUWEATHER.. I’m on a borderline between not much and a little more than not much. The real action will happen as they try to clean up the mess in Times Square.. a blizzard is a comin’ to greet us in ‘14..

Either way it reminds me of time itself.. as you stare at the photo (try it) it will vanish.. sure it’s your eyes playing tricks on your and your brain mis-reading the picture..  Isn’t that what happens daily? You see your child born.. and before you know it’s he’s three and 33 and .. you’re not around to see him get older? 2013 began with a blast. When you re-focus the picture comes back. But 2013 will not—at least not on the calender on this time line.  Instead it has slipped and slided away.. exited stage left as we banged pots and pans when the clock struck midnight. New York City revelers kissed under the night sky as the ball came down. We all sang Auld Lang Syne—at least the first verse since it’s the only one we know anymore.. '14. You're here. Be kind, we don’t want to rewind. And really we can’t… can’t go back—even if we want to. It’s the best of times. It’s the worst of times. It’s just time to party like it’s 1999..  Stay clean. Don’t be mean. It’s 2014.

It’s the best of times. It’s the worst of times. It’s just time to party like it’s 1999..
Stay clean. Don’t be mean.
It’s 2014.

A toast to 2013. Good riddance.

A great dinner at Martin’s in Hazleton PA. The night is still young—but so is our son.. So it may be the big ball on TeeVee with Ryan Seacrest instead of live fun. But that’s alright. It’s all good in ‘14

December 31, 2013.. the final 2013 news roundup, and some deeper thoughts about personal fulfillment

TUESDAY DECEMBER 31 2013

The last day unlucky 13..

STOCKPILES IN THE YEAR 2000
As I write this, Japan and parts of Russia are already greeting 2014.

I recall how news stations covered the millennium changeover back in 2000...they covered each nation live--even though 2000 didn't even start a new millennium!

And worst yet, everyone with stockpiles of soup and water exited their bunkers on January 2 to find the world was still there.. crazy, insane.. but there..

You have heard enough of the year in review laments by now.. the best and worst.. the nice and bad.. Even the HORROR REPORT gave you our annual review of what we thought mattered --and didn't--over the previous 12 months..
It is interesting that we do this, too.. That one day, New Years day, can mean so much of a difference to us..
The most meaningless place I think you can be tonight is a dive bar.. cowered in the smoky corner --wait can you still smoke in them!?--listening to some awful band try to recreate magic from 1970s tunes... After the party streamers and noise makers get thrown to the side, you're still in a dive bar. You're still in a bad place for your spirit and soul. Believe me, I spent some New Years in dive bars. One in particular when I was in my early 20s and either had too much to drink or got sick from the buffet turkey meat that they served at midnight..
Tonight my new years will be quiet.. My wife and I have dinner tonight at one of the most wonderful restaurants in the world, Martin's in Hazleton, PA.. After that we will come back home and relieve our babysitter of her duty of watching Ayden watch Woody Woodpecker on Netflix. And then watch a new years eve rock without Dick Clark but with Ryan Seacreast. At 11:59 Seacrest will announce '13 out' and we will sing, dance, and kiss our loved ones as the manmade calender switches to a new digit..

And that is how we do it, here on earth. For those keeping track in space above... we celebrate a year that was and make promises to ourselves for the next. And yes, by February those promises are long gone memories .. sometimes by January 2 they are, as a matter of fact..

For the first time, this year, I plan on resolving a few things.. A personal set of mental ailments and roadblocks that have hindered my advancement as a human for a long time... those I want to rid myself of. I am going to attempt to have a clean slate.. and attempt to forge a new path of hope and change. No, I am not running for president. Instead, I am attempting to succeed in this world, change some lives for the better, and add love instead of hate to a planet that is filled with the noise of evil ...even though it's overrun by the quiet of purity and morality.

I hope you stick to your resolution, whatever you choose for it to be.

And now onto the news.. the final news roundup for 2013. As usual, it ain't pretty:

NEW YEARS 2014.. REVELERS BEGIN MARCHING TO NEW YEAR..

This is how Japan does things; They are recruiting the homeless to help cleanup radioactive Fukushima! And with the new law that passed there, don't expect many Japanese news agencies to report a word of this..

Former MSNBC host Cenk Uygur was told not to warn the public about the danger posed by the meltdown at the Fukushima nuclear plant during his time as a host on the cable network.

Reliable DNA? Three tests have three different results..

A worthwhile question: What happens to comet Ison's remains? Fringe conspiracy sites tell us the end is nigh and that the remnants are going to strike earth in fast motion.. We know better. but what about those chunks and clunks remaining of the comet that never was? There is no logical reason to panic about the trail of debris..

BUT..
While not associated with anything related to Ison, this is an interesting story nonetheless.. The midwest saw a fireball last week. There has been an assumption that the fireball in the sky was a meteor--but that is not really an agreed upon conclusion! At this point a remains a mystery.. And speaking of fire in the sky.. here's another story on the Midwest fireball show: This is a video and image of what happens when a meteor falls from the sky above..

Stunning new information is revealed about how the NSA tracks your phone.. Perhaps it's why your cell battery dies so fast..?

A friend of mine who I trust concerning entertainment tells me to check out BLACK MIRROR: THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.. I just may.. he said the first paragraph of the linked story would hook me.. the paragraph on the Avclub.com ends oinks..err...ends like this: "The premise is devastatingly, horrifyingly simple: A member of the royal family, Princess Susannah (analogous, one imagines, to Kate Middleton) is kidnapped and held hostage. Her freedom is guaranteed on one condition: The prime minister must have sex with a pig, live on national television". There's more.. but I bet you're hooked to.

And perhaps the most positive piece of news to end the morning roundup: A new study confirms that spirituality can actually improve the brain. So go out, be positive.. be spiritual.. and attempt to connect your soul to a great force.. Whatever the force is you choose to accept.. It's probably all the same in the end, anyway.
