The dreadful heartbreak

It has been about a year and a month since I lost a friend to cancer. She was a brave soul who endured agony before she passed away.. She was young—at least I look at her that way since she graduated the same year as me from high school, and I’m not old, right? 

It is somewhat weird that Facebook pages never die .. We can pass from this existence, but the words and ‘likes’ we had will remain so as long as Mark Zuckerberg and the NSA permit it.. 

My friend’s name was Lori.. I visited her Facebook page the other night and realized that people were still actively posting messages to her.. sending love .. actively asking for her to help them. Grieving never stops, perhaps.. And maybe with technology it is evolving. Does it help or hurt to be able to constantly go back to someone’s Facebook, or Twitter, or blog? After all, a visit to the page could make it seem like they’re still here, somewhere.

And maybe they are.

Alexander Graham Bell often visited seances. Some think his invention of the telephone was meant to help the deaf.. others wonder if Bell, like all of us, were searching for a way to speak to the dead and ponder an afterlife. The mystery of EVPs has been around for centuries.. are they recordings of ghostly apparitions, wandering the earth? Or are they just a recording of the endless loop of life—a recording of what we say that replays over and over again? We are told by paranormal ‘experts’ that Bell had those questions. He didn’t find an answer—but his invention led us to years of creepy stories of the dead calling their loved ones after they left the earth.

I wonder how long until we hear from people who claim that the dead updated their Facebook accounts.. I wonder how long until the dead do it—if the dead are powerful enough to do such things.. And that takes into consideration the fact that an afterlife would be existent. And if there was one, it would have to have a few dull moments that people would rather update a Facebook status as opposed to playing musical instruments with angelic figures…

I don’t say this in mocking. As a matter of fact, I am quite surprised that there are no movies or scary stories to tell in the dark regarding Facebook, or Twitter. 

It is a little eerie to me to visit Lori’s Facebook page a year and some time later after she lost her battle to cancer.. The photos of her struggles remain.. her hometown remains, as though she’s still there. Her profile picture remains.. as though it’s still current. And the messages to her are continuous, as though she is still alive. 

It’s the new way we deal with grief and pain. And there is nothing wrong with it. Any way we try to cope is healthy—it shows we are actively trying to get a hold on our emotions and become mentally stable with the tragedy that life can be..

I have been thinking for some time of a machine or apparatus which could be operated by personalities who have passed on to another existence or sphere. I believe that if we are to make any real progress in psychic investigation, we must do it with scientific apparatus and in a scientific manner.

Maybe one day that apparatus will be Facebook….when a lost soul responds to friends who miss them. Just imagine that premise next time you post a message on a deceased friend’s wall…

Sometimes the news is bad.. Sometimes a miracle happen. Tears of joy finally escape my eyes tonight instead of yet another tragedy about a child..

Sebastian de la Cruz stopped breathing while his aunt Pamela Rauseo was driving in bumper to bumper Miami traffic.. She screamed for help as the baby went purple without air..

She frantically performed CPR on the baby.

And suddenly…she got help. NBC NEWS reports this:

The female good Samaritan who came to her aid was Lucila Godoy, who was driving with her own child when she spotted Rauseo in distress.

"I wasn’t thinking. I just got out of the car and saw the baby and heard her calling him Sebastian, which is my baby’s name, and I just freaked out," Godoy said.

"I couldn’t think. I was like, ‘Please don’t die on me.’"

Flagged down by the Miami Herald photographer who took the gripping photos, Sweetwater Police Officer Amauris Bastidas also rushed to help.

The three did CPR on Sebastian, who started breathing — and then suddenly stopped again. More rounds of chest compressions and rescue breathing followed until the baby started breathing on his own again.

"That’s when I broke down crying out of relief, knowing that he was OK," Rauseo said.

And this…

Rauseo said that she learned how to to CPR seven years ago but had forgotten the basics. Now she plans to take a refresher course to get certified.

"I would suggest that anyone with a baby or a baby in their family do so," she said.

I told my wife for several years now that this is something I want to learn. She already knows it. It’s time for me to act..

My wife's birthday was yesterday.. My son's birthday is tomorrow. Sandwiched between both this year is a Friday. Today. The 21st day of February and, already, the 52nd day of the year. We're not close to Christmas but one day soon we will be, and we'll laugh about how another year went by. I guess by this point in the second month of 2014, you're New Years resolutions are fully expired. Correct? If not.. good show..Good show.

There is a major government crackdown on all dissidents.. And most of the international news media is completely oblivious to it all.

Dado Ruvic, a photographer from Reuters, snapped and published over a dozen photos of how the 1984 Olympics site looks now. It was Sarajevo.. 1984--before the heartbreaking war that killed so many.. The war took a toll on the site of the Olympics.. And now, remnants of a time that was stand. The photos look spooky, strange, and creepy.. There are abandoned structures and reminders of the beauty that once was. There are so many things that come to mind when I looked at the photos. First off, the power of earth to take over what man creates.. but more importantly, the power of hate, which is able to destroy and bring to rubble vestiges of goodness and sport rivalry. Normally when people visit a website, the bounce rate is about 80%. Do yourself a favor and stay on this page with photos a little longer.. and contemplate what their haunting message really is..



I am sure you've come across people who dress like Barbie and try to emulate her entire plastic existence? Hell, there was even a hit song in the 90s celebrating such stupidity. And now, Blondie Bennett, a Barbie-obsessed woman, says she is taking steps to become brainless. The ultimate Barbie--and sign of mental illness.. The step being taken: Hypnotherapy.. Good luck Barbie. Let's hope your IQ substantially drops.

Any or all signs of spring may become obliterated by next week when the Polar Vortex returns.. according to weather forecasters, it looks like temperatures may plunge 35 degrees or more below averages..Along with the polar vortex part 3, I have seen some troubling forecasts calling for potential snowstorms.. The internet can be filled with goodness and important websites reporting on news from around the world. Or it could be the dark web, which vandalizes the youth of the world and makes children into props for sexual pleasure.. There seems to be an increasingly number of horrible websites involving child porn.. As a matter of fact, right now there are 50,000 Americans believed to be actively trading images and videos of children being abused. One message board comment on a 'dark web' site said this, with a photo of an unborn child: "I have a new baby about to be added to the game."  I challenge you to read the USA TODAY article about this and still try to argue there is not evil in this world--children being damned before they are born to such conditions is wrong and dreadfully depressing..


Why do such horrible and disgusting things happen to children? Why do so many evil so called humans want to rob the goodness and innocence of childhood? A story from Missouri is shocking: A ten year old girl, Hailey Owens, was abducted and murdered .. and a 45-year-old longtime employee of the Springfield Missouri public school system has been charged with first degree murder..  And the story of the beautiful young girl has resonated across the United States.. No child, no human--but goddamnit no child--should ever have to be subjected to pedophiles and creeps, inhuman scum and despicable evil people.. Ever. If I had superpowers, I know the scum I'd round up first..

In an interview, Rob Zombie said that he was working on the hockey film but 'something else' popped up.. Interestingly, Zombie also says his movie he liked the least was HOUSE OF A 1000 CORPSES because it was a 'mess.' I agree with him. But I would have to say his HALLOWEEN remakes were much more deplorable in nature than others..

Someone recently asked me why I named my site the HORROR REPORT. For those who haven't read it, I started it on an old Geocities site in the late 1990s.. It began with horror movies, evolved to incorporate real news, and finally now tries to take into account all news--fake, real, scary, funny, weird.. paranormal.. strange.. Basically you'll find stories on the HORROR REPORT that scare me and keep me awake at night. Some days I sleep better than others.. But there's always something, before your final waking moments, that can startle you awake to rethink all of this again..

Banker deaths, golf courses in droughts, and animals striking back: This among the major headlines for the Tuesday Terrors

News to use.. not to abuse. Everything you are about to read is urgently important. None of it should NOT be a top story.. but there's only one top. And we're never on it.

There's lots of stories on the agenda for the Tuesday terror update. real and brutal headlines from around the world.. and also faint and scant signs of goodness here and there.

To coin an hackneyed term of today: It is what it is.

Bankers gone mad.. The HORROR REPORT and various other sources across the Internets have been telling you about the dead banker count now being 6. They are all considered suicides--jumping off buildings in London and even shooting themselves in the head with nail guns were among the choices to self-expire. And now we add number 7: A JP Morgan banker leaps to his death in Hong Kong.. Of the information we know now:  The man went to the 30-floor Charter House in Hong Kong.. police failed to convince him not to jump. JP says he was a junior level banker who played a role on several projects. Infowars has a wrap no the previous 6 suicides.. Anyone else besides me becoming very alarmed at this suicide rate lately? What else is happening that we don't know..?

BUT.....do the dead bankers know something we don't? Zero Hedge is reporting that George Soros is putting a 'put' on a big market crash..

DING DONG THE BANK IS HERE! Other banker news that may hit closer to home than some distant suicides--so close to home it could be on your own front door.. According to Capital One, they now have the ability to show up at your door and also your workplace.. They have told their customers that they could show up just about any time, and any place, that they please.. One person observed that not even the IRS has these powers without specific warrants..

Expect to see this link and video popping up on the paranormal sites you frequent.. And we have it here (maybe not first, but one of the firsts) .. It portends to be actual CCTV footage recorded at a pub in Britain.. The video was taken Valentine's Day. And it appears to show a ghost.  There's lots of room for this to be a fake, of course.. But it's creepy nonetheless..


Brutality in Syria: CNN gets footage of mass graves and mass murder in the nation.. Some of the men appear to be teenagers.. At this point who in the hell cares which side is doing it, as we know both are. In 2014, humanity everywhere is beginning to act like it's just 14AD all over again.. Inhumanity and horror abounds..


Yesterday the HORROR REPORT and others linked up news that the UN was going to condemn Lil Kim Jong Un in North Korea for crimes against humanity. They did. And I read the report almost in full.. it reads like Nazi Germany. I really get angry at people who say the atrocities committed during World War II are limited to the 20th Century. Clearly they are not--they are happening now and Kim Jong Un is just one of the global players destroying goodness on this planet with his evil acts. China has now rejected 'unreasonable' criticism of North Korea--obvious global political games still being played even though babies and innocent people are being slaughtered by Kim.. And now we add number 7: A JP Morgan banker leaps to his death in Hong Kong.. Of the information we know now:  The man went to the 30-floor Charter House in Hong Kong.. police failed to convince him not to jump. JP says he was a junior level banker who played a role on several projects. Infowars has a wrap no the previous 6 suicides.. Anyone else besides me becoming very alarmed at this suicide rate lately? What else is happening that we don't know..?

BUT.....do the dead bankers know something we don't? Zero Hedge is reporting that George Soros is putting a 'put' on a big market crash..
