The aftermath of a tornado: A simple American flag hangs and inspires..

Another story from the scene of the devestating Oklahoma tornado concerns the Bible.. according to storm chaser named Brandon Heiden, a bible was found intact and it was opened to Isaiah 32 --A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, and a cover from the tempest.. I don't know how much 'faith' I put in this story--and theoretically the Bible would also have been opened to Isiah 30, 31, and 33.. right?




If you still think that earth changes will not happen to you, think of this statistic released by an IDMC study: Natural disasters displaced 32.4 million people in 2012..



Is this a game changer or just a change of the game of drones? The United States has admitted what many have already known: Drone attacks have killed United States citizens overseas.. Now it's official. This is the first time the Obama Administration has taken responsibility for the deaths that occurred in 2009 -- and there is very little mention of any non-American civilians killed by the same game of drones that the US has waged in several nations..

On the papal exorcism...

The newspaper of record, the NEW YORK TIMES, is reporting that Pope Francis helped 'liberate' the man in the wheelchair.. the same man the Vatican said was not undergoing an exorcism..

The TIMES reports that the 43-year-old traveled from Mexico to Rome to be blessed by the Pope.. The report further says,
At the end of the Mass, Francis blessed several wheelchair-bound faithful as he always does, including a man described by the priest who brought him as being possessed by the devil.


There seems to be some parsing of words in the realm of exorcisms.. Was it simply a prayer or the ancient ritual to rid a body of the devil??

It seems the debate goes on. But now we know that there were 'demons' of some kind among Francis..

So much heartache.. so much disaster. The latest is in Oklahoma, as you may have been seeing if you followed Earth Informer yesterday and other sources as well. The latest reports lament 91 dead so far--so many were children from elementary schools that were flattened by this tornado. Winds were 200 miles or more. The spread was over a mile.. And it was one of the biggest tornadoes in history.. The massive path of destruction is now evident..
A desperate search for survivors ongoing.. But time is running out fast.






When comedy is too quick. Ever hear the comment 'too soon' after someone tells a joke? Comedian Lizz Winstead tweeted something yesterday after the tornado saying 'This tornado is in Oklahoma so clearly it has been ordered to only target conservatives'.. this was before the bodies of dead children were taken from the elementary school.. this was before the death toll rose to at least 91.. She was forced to Tweet an apology three hours later..









An update: NASA announced that the brightest lunar explosion ever recorded just happened.. Well.. "just" as in March of this year.. They only announced it now. A meteor hit the moon in March and ignited an explosion so large it was able to be seen from the planet Earth. Some experts were saying, way back in the late winter, that the moon sure looked funny. Only now do we have 'official' confirmation as to why..











Up in the sky.. Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter are lining up for a beautiful sunset sky show during the last 10 days of May, peaking this Monday on Memorial Day..

There's a rumblr on Tumblr..the new billion dollar man is coming to us from the tech world. Yahoo! is shelling out over $1 bil for the blogging service Tumblr. Some users are concerned.. After all, it seems anything corporate Yahoo! gets its hands on fails or gets forgotten.. Also interesting, David Karp, the founder of Tumblr who dropped out of high school and made the blog service in his mom's New York City apartment, said he wouldn't sell as recent as a month ago. But money talked. Apparently talked very loud.. Get out while the gettin's good, perhaps? Either way, Karp is about to become the tycoon of the age. The first of only a few since last century. Oh, and by the way, it was last century that Yahoo! bought another blogging service: Geocities. That failed too. And about two years ago, Yahoo! completely deleted all Geocities sites from its archives and database... leaving users to frantically try to save years of infancy of the internet. So if Tumblr users think Yahoo! will care? Doubt that one.. The Bieber booed at Billboard: "I'm an artist and I should be taken seriously, and all this other bullshit should not be spoken of"
