Experts don't buy eye witness accounts of Bigfoot in Utah

No shock that experts aren't buying it.. but what are they experts in?

This report from WGN9

Whether Bigfoot is real or not is more a question of faith than science. Case in point, the latest sighting in Provo, Utah. The incident happened earlier this month, and of course, there is video.
"Seriously, look how big it is. I don't think it is a human. I think it's a Sasquatch," a Provo man said.
It was a clear January morning in the foothills of Northeast Provo when a group of guys saw a figure on the mountain that looked like something they've never seen before.
"You can’t just see something that’s maybe a once-in-a-century discovery and go do your nine-to-five job. You got to go look for fur, or footprints, or some kind of evidence," Austin Craig, who captured the moment on video, said.
The camera was rolling as Austin took to the mountain with a buddy on a search for the elusive Bigfoot.
"That is exactly where I saw the 'Sasquatch,' and you guys put together even aren’t even as close to as wide or as tall as it was," the Provo man in the video said.
Their findings were inconclusive.
"Was it a bear? Maybe. That’s plausible. Was it a person? Also plausible," Craig said. "Was it something else? I think that’s also possible. Who knows?"
Utah has had its fair share of Bigfoot sightings over the years. It seems most of them are in Utah County.
We spoke with an expert from Utah's Natural History Museum who says, you can believe in it or not, but the science simply isn’t there.
"What’s the likelihood that there are big animals that have gone undetected by scientists and by trained observers?" Dr. Eric Rickart, Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at Utah's Museum of Natural History, said.

The pig eat pig year

Welcome to the year of the pig..

Pig is the twelfth in the 12-year cycle of Chinese zodiac sign. The Years of the Piginclude 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031, 2043... Pig is not thought to be a smart animal in China. It likes sleeping and eating and becomes fat. Thus it usually features laziness and clumsiness.

We are told that people born in the Year of the Pig will welcome favorable fortune, especially in wealth and love life...

But we are also told that while pig people are self reliant and honest, possible dark sides the Pig people are stubbornness, naive, over-reliant, self-indulgent, easy to anger and materialistic. They are sometimes regarded as being lazy...

In China red and gold are considered lucky colors since they are believed to convey happiness and prosperity.. you can give red envelopes full of money to your family members to celebrate the pig year..

New SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK trailers unleashed!

Perhaps the high point for an extremely boring Super Bowl was trailers dropping for this years anticipated horror story..

Guillermo del Toro released the third and final teaser for the forthcoming adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The newest teasers feature a look at the Pale Lady and a Red Spot.

The film is set to open August 19..

More..

The first two teasers of the movie directed by André Øvredal feature Big Toe and the Jangly Man.

André Øvredal is directing the movie about a group of young teens who must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in a small town. Many will remember that the film will be based on Alvin Schwartz’s YA novel series..

That series was an important part of millions of people’s lives in the 1980s when some schools even had the books listed as contraband that would be hidden and tucked away behind others or on the ‘black market’ of reading lists in book bags and hallways ..

Plane crash into California neighborhood home leaves 5 dead

Heartfelt sadness goes to the victims of this matter..

The twin-engine plane came apart and caught fire mid-flight, witnesses told local media, before crashing in Yorba Linda, a suburb of Los Angeles.

The flight went awry just minutes after taking off from a local airport, some 20 miles (32km) south-east of the city.

The victims have not yet been named. Fire officials say two people were treated in hospital for burns.

Local residents described a shrill whistling sound before an explosion set the two-storey home on fire at 13:45 (21:45 GMT) on Sunday.

The pilot was the Cessna 414A's only occupant, and a source told the Los Angeles Times the man had flown frequently out of the Fullerton Municipal Airport.

Those killed in the home were two males and two females, Orange County officials said at a news conference..

Various websites are showcasing both images and video of the tragic event..

For me, there was a little twist of creepiness involved as well..

If anyone else out there is a fan of the movie DONNIE DARKO from 2001, you may recall the scene when a small plane engine crashes down onto the house.. there is more than that, like Frank the rabbit and the parallel universe issue..

One particular image of the scene from the CALI crash had me recalling the scene from DONNIE DARKO.. A chilling likness..

The first image was the scene from California Sunday..The next is the film DONNIE DARKO..

LEAVING NEVERLAND director says critics are trying to shame doc participants

“I’m getting horrible email messages from Michael Jackson fans," Dan Reed said. "Several thousand emails in the past three weeks. Absolutely as disgusting as you could possibly invent.

"And why do people react that way? Why when two men have come forward saying they were sexually abused as a child, why do we want to shame them? Why do we want to shut them down? Why do we want to silence them? Why do we want to threaten them? I don’t understand.”

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse named best animated feature of 2018 at Annie Awards!

“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” has been named the best animated feature of 2018 at the 46th Annual Annie Awards, sweeping all seven categories in which it was nominated and giving the film a prize that has predicted the Oscar animated-feature winner more than 70 percent of the time.

The awards were handed out at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus on Saturday night by the Los Angeles branch of the International Animated Film Association, ASIFA-Hollywood

This is well deserved.. the film may have been the best animated movie in a generation and quite honestly the best movie of 2018 in its entirety..

Chris Pratt insists that GUARDIANS 3 is still happening

Chris Pratt joined some others like Karen Gillan, in insisting that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will happen.

“I promise there’ll be a third movie,” Pratt told Variety at the Lego Movie 2 premiere. “I don’t know exactly what that’s going to look like, but I know everyone on board is just eager to give the fans what they want and wrap up a trilogy in a meaningful way.”

“We’re still circling the city of Jericho, I like to say,” Pratt told Variety.

Described as a “massive collection” by Matt Salinger in an interview with The Guardian, the works will be released at some future date..

Rami Malek speaks out about the allegations of sexual abuse against Bryan Singer

Rami Malek has spoken about the allegations of sexual abuse against Bryan Singer, who directed Malek's Oscar-nominated new film "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Singer was fired from the film, which stars Malek as Freddie Mercury, lead singer of the iconic rock group Queen. In a recent sit-down at the Arlington Theatre for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Malek was hesitant to speak out against the director, but emphasized the importance of valuing victims' stories, Vanity Fair reports.

“I've sat here and talked about how everyone deserves a voice and anyone who wants to talk about what happened with Bryan deserves to have their voice heard," he said. "In my situation with Bryan, it was not pleasant, not at all. And that's about what I can say about it at this point.” He did not elaborate.

“It's awful, it's remarkable that this happens,” Malek said of Singer's alleged crimes. “I can appreciate so much what they've been through and how difficult this must be for them. In the light of the #MeToo era that this somehow seems to exist after that, it's a horrible thing.”

“My heart goes out to anyone who has to live through anything like what I've heard and what is out there,” he continued.

Jordan Peele's new US trailer revealed: A new nightmare

WE first saw the trailer for Jordan Peele's US before the movie GLASS...

The film looks very Peele.. very creative, amazing.. new and fresh..

The trailer is frightening and gives glimpse to a newfound moment in horror with new faces,  new voices, and new storylines...

It reads a bit like a TWILIGHT ZONE premise.. a family is facing itself, facing its own fears, and its own anxieties.. The concept is brilliant, if you ask the HORROR REPORTER, and the trailer is amazing..

The newest trailer is now revealed..

A new nightmare. Welcome to r/monkeypawproductions. from r/MonkeypawProductions

GLASS cuts through competition for third weekend in a row! Victory for #Shyalaman

Maureen Lenker writes this for EW:

Glass is still slicing through its competitors to hold onto the top spot at the box office.
The M. Night Shyamalan thriller tops the box office for the third week running with an estimated $9.5 million in ticket sales at 3,665 theaters in the U.S. and Canada from Friday through Sunday, bringing its North American total to $88.7 million. Globally, it’s brought in an estimated $199 million. STX Films’ The Upside also holds onto its momentum in its fourth weekend, coming in second with $8.6 million across 3,568 theaters, while the only nationwide new release Miss Bala takes the third place slot with an estimated $6.7 million across 2,203 theaters.
The overall weekend take paints a dismal picture amounting to the worst Super Bowl weekend at the movies since 2000. It’s a rare weekend where every film failed to pass the $10 million mark. Inclimate weather across the United States likely contributed to the steep decline in movie-going.

The HORROR REPORT can attest to the fact that GLASS is a divisive and amazingly imaginative and very M NIGHT SHYAMALAN movie.. It's filled with newfound ways to showcase filmography.. it is coupled with dialogue, twist endings, re-twist endings, and fantastic acting from the main characters in the film.. It is also something that will be debated in the UNBREAKABLE fan circles for years to come.

Personally we loved GLASS for what it was, a culmination of 20 years of comic book heroism... As a stand alone movie, it was bad.. when taken into the context of previous films it was a finale worth seeing..

And yes, the main point of the EW article is the low SUPER BOWL box office numbers.. but people are still seeing GLASS.. some of them repeatedly..

FINAL BOX OFFICE TALLY..

1. Glass — $9.5 million2. The Upside — $8.6 million
3. Miss Bala — $6.7 million
4. Aquaman— $4.8 million
5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — $4.4 million
6. Green Book — $4.3 million
7. Kid Who Would Be King — $4.2 million
8. A Dog’s Way Home — $3.5 million
9. Escape Room — $2.9 million
10. They Shall Not Grow Old — $2.4 million

The Holocaust paradox

This article needs to be read and imprinted in minds.. the HOLOCAUST was a period of hell for humanity.. but those who survived went on to live very long lives..

Perhaps this was the message from a higher power.. perhaps the intention of that higher power was to give more time to those who survived to tell their story and how it happened.. and could always happen again..

PETER ORSZAG writes in BLOOMBERG

Sunday was Holocaust Remembrance Day, causing me to think about an assertion I heard from an elementary school teacher. She said that even those who survived the Holocaust were so debilitated that the rest of their lives would be short. As with many things I learned in elementary school, the reality is more complicated, and my 10-year-old self would be glad to know that my teacher was probably more wrong than right.

Living through a horrendous event, like confinement in a concentration camp or prisoner-of-war camp, does create health problems serious enough to shorten most people’s lives. But those who survive also seem to have other characteristics — perhaps a stronger immune system and a more optimistic outlook than the general population — that tend to make people live longer. New research suggests that such resilience can often overcome scarring.

MORE..

The results show that the camp survivors had higher rates of hypertension, cancer, dementia and obesity than native-born people of the same age and sex. For example, 83 percent of the survivors had hypertension, compared to 67 percent of the control group. Whether the Holocaust experience caused these differences is unclear, but they are consistent with my elementary school teacher’s statement.
The surprising part is that despite being in worse health, the Holocaust survivors lived 7.1 years longer — their average age at death was 85 years, compared to 78 among the control group. Those differences persist even after adjusting for socioeconomic status (Holocaust survivors tend to be poorer than their contemporaries), sex and other factors. Some other research has similarly found longer lives among survivors.

FINALLY..

What’s the conclusion, beyond answering a question that has stuck with me for four decades? First and most importantly, it’s not that a traumatic time is anything but hideous. It’s instead that those surviving such an event may be sturdier than others, and by so much that it more than offsets the additional ailments they wind up with. In other words, survivors can wind up living longer than average, but they would presumably have lived even longer in the absence of their gruesome experiences. Second, the effects of extreme events may be passed on to future generations: Whatever the effect on survivors, the Civil War evidence suggests their children may wind up paying a price.

New motion filed in the Steven Avery case

A motion filed last week accuses the State of Wisconsin of violating Steven Avery’s rights when it turned over bone evidence to Teresa Halbach’s family.

Steven Avery was convicted in 2007 of murdering Teresa Halbach, though he maintains his innocence. Avery’s trial and conviction were the subject of a popular Netflix series, Making a Murderer.

According to the motion, in the original trial, the prosecution argued that Teresa Halbach was murdered and mutilated in Avery's garage and burn pit. In his closing argument, the motion says, prosecutor Ken Kratz told the jury that the location of the bones in Avery's burn pit was the “most important” evidence that Avery murdered Halbach

Meteorite hits Cuba!!

A meteorite hit western Cuba on Friday afternoon, according to eyewitness reports.

The event sounds like it was pretty dramatic: "We're receiving reports that a meteor was seen in the sky across the Florida Keys," NWS Key West tweeted, adding that the space rock "likely exploded over the province of Pinar del Río."

CNN's Havana correspondent, Patrick Oppmann, described the sound of a "large explosion" in the town of Viñales and posted pictures of the fragments..

And perhaps adding the oddest part to this... February 1 2019 was rumored since 2002 to be the target date for a meteor to hit earth.. back at the early part of this century there were fears it would be planet ending.

Maybe not the meteor that wiped out earth... but sure a fragment that freaked out Cuba..???

The social network social experiment: Facebook paid teenagers to spy on rivals

The Facebook Research program, which began in 2016, has drawn scorn of critics and parents in the wake of Apple's decision to ban the data-monitoring app from all iOS phones.

Apple said Facebook's research app was a "clear breach" of their agreement with the Cupertino, Calif. company.

More..

The pushback from Apple, which revoked Facebook's Enterprise Certificate, has escalated the war between the tech companies and wreaked havoc at Facebook because all of its internal, employee-only apps cannot be accessed.

"I find this behavior shameful. Taking advantage of people who do not understand the value of the data they generate. Targeting kids of all people! As a parent I am appalled. I am so happy I stopped using Facebook years ago," Claudiu Musat, a research director for data, analytics and AI at Swisscom, said on Twitter.

Man shot after strange Area 51 incident

According to a press release issued, at 5:18 pm local time on January 28, an unidentified male sped through a security checkpoint at the entrance to the secret Area 51 government site. Both the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and the NNSS Security Protective Force Officers pursued the man in a high speed chase for eight miles..

According to the NNSS, the man got out of his car and began approaching security officials carrying an unknown “cylindrical object.” The man did not respond to officers’ verbal commands and was shot and pronounced dead..

The FBI is also investigating..

The press release is vague and mysterious... no word on the identity of the man or what the cylindrical item in question was...

Natalia Dyer hypes STRANGER THINGS 3 as "bigger and darker"

Natalia Dyer, or NANCY, on STRANGER THINGS 3

“It does feel bigger, just filming it,” she told MTV News while at the Sundance Film Festival.

“I haven’t seen any of it, but it does feel bigger, darker, scarier. It felt like they noticeably bumped it up to a different level this season.

“So I’m excited to see it, too. I don’t know how they do it, [creators] the [Duffer] brothers, but yeah, I’m excited.”

Dyer is ready to premiere on NETLIX in just days..

In Velvet Buzzsaw, Dyer stars alongside Hollywood heavyweights such as Jake Gyllenhaal, Toni Collette, John Malkovich, Rene Russo and Zawe Ashton.

Based loosely in the art world, the story revolves around a mysterious painter, whose pieces appear steadily through the film even while he doesn't, leading many to theorise on where they came from, how they were created and who the mastermind behind the work could be.

Ted Bundy's eyes grew darker as he talked about his crimes

Ted Bundy's own blood-curdling words is being heard in a new docu-series released by Netflix ...

Something else of particular creepiness: One of the experts tells the camera: "He had really blue eyes and when he really got going his eyes went absolutely black."

The documentary features previously unheard audio of interviews with Bundy when he was on death row in Florida... The "blue" to black eye quote was used in trailers for the show and is featured... It adds an extra layer or paranormal to the already "SPLIT" like personality of Bundy..

The four-episode documentary looks at his killings and has become the newest NETFLIX rage..

He was convicted and confessed to murdering more than 30 women in the 1970s..

A few other weird things about Bundy:

Bundy worked for a suicide hotline in Seattle. His coworkers, including author Ann Rule, remember him as a skilled volunteer who helped ease troubled callers and saved lives..

There have been claims made by Bundy’s family that Bundy might have been fathered by his mother’s abusive father, Samuel Cowell..

It is believed that Ted was exposed to his grandfather’s collection of pornography as a young child, which some believe may have sparked his utter fascination and preoccupation with pornography and violent sex...

There is some evidence suggests that he abducted and killed 8-year-old Ann Marie Burr of Tacoma in 1961 when he was 14, an allegation he denied repeatedly. However, there is a bone chilling story about Ted, while he was staying with one of his aunts. That while she was sleeping, he placed several butcher knives under the covers in the bed next to her. When she woke up and discovered the knives, young Ted could not stop laughing...

Bundy died in the Raiford electric chair at 7:16 a.m. EST on January 24, 1989; he was 42 years old. Hundreds of revelers—including 20 off-duty police officers, by one account—sang, danced and set off fireworks in a pasture across the street from the prison as the execution was carried out, then cheered loudly as the white hearse containing his corpse departed the prison..His body was cremated in Gainesville, and his ashes scattered at an undisclosed location in the Cascade Range of Washington State, in accordance with his will.

During Bundy’s time at college in 1967, he became romantically involved with Stephanie Brooks, but she ended their relationship due to his “lack of ambition” and “immaturity. All of Bundy’s victims are believed to look similar to Stephanie, as they all were white females between the age of 15 to 25..

But going back to the EYES for a second, back in 2013 this snippet is interesting:

In PROJECT CAIN and CAIN’S BLOOD, I got to research serial killers, cloning, military science, post-traumatic stress disorder, the genetics of violence, and crime. Interesting topics. Did I get everything right? Doubtful. Difficult to do when even something as basic as Ted Bundy’s eye color becomes arguable. “Blue” says one report, “Brown” claims another witness. “Green,” Bundy replies himself in the court transcript. “They change color depending on the light,” says a reporter following the case. They change color??!! <yanks hair> The FBI said blue, so I went with that. The FBI was a good-enough source for me. Might someone who knew Bundy have a better/different fact? Maybe. But I had two books to write and couldn’t spend the next four years of my life deciding what Bundy’s eye color was.

NETFLIX struggles to cope with subscribers who think TED BUNDY is hot

TWEETS THAT TWEET FOR THEMSELVES..

I've seen a lot of talk about Ted Bundy’s alleged hotness and would like to gently remind everyone that there are literally THOUSANDS of hot men on the service — almost all of whom are not convicted serial murderers

Last Thursday, on the anniversary of Bundy's death, the streaming giant released director Joe Berlinger's four-part docuseries, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, to a captive and eager audience. Two days later, Berlinger's Bundy biopic starring Zac Efron, titled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, premiered to a divided audience at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival...

And since then the program has garnered millions of views on Netflix and conversation threads on the socials.. many people believe what women said then: He is "hot"..

In the 70s women were killed.. in the 2000teens it seems "cool" to call murderers hot again.

Make a red hat for that..

Margot Robbie’s New ‘Birds of Prey’ Harley Quinn look revealed

SHE'S BACK!

Margot Robbie will return as HARLEY QUINN. . . thanks to social media she is releasing a 'new look'of the famed DC character..

Now filming in Los Angeles, Birds of Prey is being directed by Cathy Yan and also features Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, Ewan McGegor as Black Mask, Jurnee Smolet-Bell as Black Canary and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya.

From press releases: The dark-edged crime film from director Cathy Yan is part of the Warner Bros. wave of edgy DC Comics adaptations (along with the upcoming Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix) that are more stand-alone than the intricately connected narratives that have become a foundation of rival Disney’s Marvel Studios approach to superhero cinema.

A few onliners have critiqued that the new Look doesn't fully capture the SUICIDE SQUAD version.. that was messier.. grimier.. Harley Quinn is a new lady! She's ready for action.. and Margot Robbie has perfectly captured the role and essence that is the JOKER's leading lady.

Researchers claim lowering blood pressure could help prevent dementia

A new study offers a glimpse into preventative attention one should give blood pressure..

Drastically lowering blood pressure may help protect memory and thinking skills later in life, researchers reported Monday — the first hopeful sign that it's possible to lower rates of mental decline.

MORE..

The large blood pressure study looked at more than 9,000 people over the age of 50 years old found that those who lowered their blood pressure to 120 — the top number, or systolic blood pressure — were 19 percent less likely to develop mild cognitive impairment, the loss of memory and brain processing power that usually precedes Alzheimer’s disease. The results of the study, called Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial, or SPRINT, were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

ISRAELI SCIENTISTS SAY THEY THINK THEY FOUND A CURE FOR CANCER!

“We believe we will offer in a year’s time a complete cure for cancer,” said Dan Aridor, of a new treatment being developed by his company, Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd. (AEBi), which was founded in 2000 in the ITEK incubator in the Weizmann Science Park. AEBi developed the SoAP platform, which provides functional leads to very difficult targets.

MORE..https://www.jpost.com/HEALTH-SCIENCE/A-cure-for-cancer-Israeli-scientists-say-they-think-they-found-one-578939

“Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market,” Aridor said. “Our solution will be both generic and personal.”
It sounds fantastical, especially considering that an estimated 18.1 million new cancer cases are diagnosed worldwide each year, according to reports by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Further, every sixth death in the world is due to cancer, making it the second leading cause of death (second only to cardiovascular disease).

YouTube says the decision affects less than 1 percent of videos - but this will still impact millions of clips.

'We think this change strikes a balance between maintaining a platform for free speech and living up to our responsibility to users,' YouTube said.

However, it will not ban the videos.

'To be clear, this will only affect recommendations of what videos to watch, not whether a video is available on YouTube.'

Kevin Smith responds to Bill Maher's comic book attack

BILL MAHER raged back on Additional to the comment, Smith reminded his followers on Twitter of the moment when he appeared on Maher's show..

Maher attacked Stan Lee and comic book fans, and also hurled insults at Kevin Smith.

Smith on Twitter reacted:

"Yes, @billmaher took a shot at me during his show last night, in the midst of his latest rant about @TheRealStanLee and adults who like comic books." Smith wrote in the Twitter post. "No, I’m not mad at all. Bill may talk tough but he’s a stoner like me and a real pussycat when confronted."

The media permitted Harvey Weinstein's crimes to continue, UNTOUCHABLE claims

Dateline 1997: Following a screening of her film Going All the Way, Rose McGowan, then 23, alleges that Weinstein invited her to a meeting at a restaurant that was then changed to his hotel suite.

He was her boss, since she’d already filmed a sizeable role in the sci-fi thriller Phantoms, which was to be distributed by the Weinstein-owned Miramax..

He was also one of the most powerful men in Hollywood.. his name inspired fear in the industry..

Once inside, she says that Weinstein eventually forced himself on her, raping her at the edge of his Jacuzzi...

A new film called Untouchable is documenting the role the media played in allowing monstrous behavior to go on..

The DAILY BEAST writes

The New Yorker’s Ken Auletta opens up about his lengthy 2002 profile of Weinstein in the magazine, and how he’d failed to include any abuse allegations in the piece—even though he’d managed to track down Perkins in Guatemala, and heard the sex-abuse rumblings. A.J. Benza, the former Daily News gossip columnist who Weinstein is said to have used to help kill negative stories, features prominently, as does New York magazine’s Rebecca Traister, who recounts a bizarre incident where Weinstein repeatedly called her a “cunt” at a glitzy Manhattan soiree before putting her then-boyfriend Andrew Goldman, also a journalist, into a headlock and punching the top of his head in front of a gaggle of partygoers and paparazzi.

“I never saw one photo,” Traister says in the film, even though “hundreds” were snapped of Weinstein manhandling the reporter.

And The New York Times, the very paper that broke the story of Weinstein’s alleged serial abuse, published what amounts to a Miramax press release on the ugly episode, pinning the blame mostly on Traister and Goldman for being pushy interlopers.
“I’m glad I’m the sheriff of this shit-ass fucking town,” Goldman recounts Weinstein saying before he got physical.

Casey Hathaway, 3, Found Alive 2 Days After He Vanished from His Family's Yard in North Carolina

Casey Hathaway, the 3-year-old boy who went missing earlier this week from his grandmother’s yard in North Carolina, has been found alive.

Hathaway was found on Thursday night by a professional search and rescue team in Craven County, Shelley Lynch, a spokesperson for the FBI Charlotte field office, said in a news release.

Breanna Hathaway, who identified herself in a Facebook post as Hathaway’s aunt, also confirmed the discovery of her nephew on the social media site.

But the money quote that perhaps raises the biggest eyebrow of all:

“Casey is healthy, smiling, and talking. He said he hung out with a bear for two days God sent him a friend to keep him safe,” she wrote. “God is good God. Miracles do happen”

COMICALLY INCORRECT!? Bill Maher lashes out at STAN LEE and comic book fans!

BILL MAHER, fresh off of hiatus, roared back on Friday night to HBO with comments that are insulting comic books fans everywhere!

"Tonight’s editorial is about Stan Lee who, if you missed it, died in November," Maher explained. "And a few days later, I posted a blog that in no way was an attack on Mr. Lee, but took the occasion of his death to express my dismay at people who think comic books are literature and superhero movies are great cinema and who, in general, are stuck in an everlasting childhood. Bragging that you’re all about the Marvel Universe is like boasting your mother still pins your mittens to your sleeves."

"You can, if you want, like the exact same things you liked when you were ten but if you do, you need to grow up," said Maher. "That was the point of my blog. I’m not glad Stan Lee is dead, I’m sad you’re alive. By the way, if someone says you’re being childish and you react by throwing a tantrum, you’re not Iron Man — you’re Irony Man. Let me tell you, people were pissed about this post, I wasn’t even aware I ruffled so many capes until I saw that forty thousand Twitter followers unfollowed me like that [snaps], to which I say ‘Good riddance, go follow Yogi Bear.'"

"Director Kevin Smith accused me of “taking a shot when no shots are f**kin’ necessary,” except again my shot wasn’t at Stan Lee. It was at, you know, grown men who still dress like kids," Maher said as he showed a picture of Smith wearing a branded hockey jersey."

"Can we stop pretending that the writing in comic books is so good?" he continued. "Oh, please. Every superhero movie is the same thing — a person who doesn’t have powers, gets them, has to figure out how they work, and then has to find a glory thing. Justice League, glowy thing. Iron Man, glowy thing. Spider-Man, glory thing. Captain America, glowy thing."

"I’m sorry, but if you’re an adult playing with superhero dolls, I’m sorry — I mean collectible action figures — why not go all the way and drive to work on a Big Wheel?" Maher said while showing pictures of various social media posts. "Grown-ups these days cling so desperately to their childhood that when they do attempt to act their age, they have a special word for it now: adulting."

The HORROR REPORT firmly believes that INTO THE SPIDERVERSE was the best movie of 2018..

But ... Politically Incorrect is meant to gain headlines. And the HORROR REPORT equally doesn't get offended or triggered.. NO matter how Wrong Maher could be..

DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR?

A few days ago there were various news reports that scientists gained an ability to transmit a sound to someone without devices.. without anyone else hearing it.. It would just appear INSIDE YOUR HEAD..

In a paper published on Friday in the journal Optics Letters, the MIT team describes how it developed two different methods to transmit tones, music, and recorded speech via a laser.

Getting into the details of how this is happening: For one of their methods, the researchers “swept” a laser beam at the speed of sound, changing the length of the sweeps to encode different audible pitches.

This technique allowed them to transmit sound to a person more than 8.2 feet away at a volume of 60 decibels — about the loudness of background music or a conversation in a restaurant — without anyone between the source of the sound and the target hearing it.

For the other method, they encoded an audio message by adjusting a laser beam’s power. They said this technique produced a quieter but clearer result.

This entire news event has brought up some memories of distant paranoia.. Remember those old MKULTRA allegations? People who said that noises or thoughts were beamed directly into their unsuspecting heads?

Here is a YOUTUBE video on this very topic..

This is also NOT the first time this ability has become known..

Dateline early 2018: Non-lethal yet still horribly unpleasant weapons are all the rage these days, from puke rays to pink tasers. What's the next step? How about a beam that inserts voices into your head? Yes, you could be minding your own business looting a Best Buy during a riot and all of the sudden there's a voice coming from inside your own brain saying "We're really disappointed with you." Enter the SCHIZO BEAM..

Traveling WAY BACK into the machine to 2007, this little tidbit of conspiracy was published by WIRED:

Now the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is jumping on the bandwagon with their new "Sonic Projector" program:  The goal of the Sonic Projector program is to provide Special Forces with a method of surreptitious audio communication at distances over 1 km. Sonic Projector technology is based on the non-linear interaction of sound in air translating an ultrasonic signal into audible sound. The Sonic Projector will be designed to be a man-deployable system, using high power acoustic transducer technology and signal processing algorithms which result in no, or unintelligible, sound everywhere but at the intended target. The Sonic Projector system could be used to conceal communications for special operations forces and hostage rescue missions, and to disrupt enemy activities.

Last night GROUND ZERO WITH CLYDE LEWIS hosted a great program with this as the topic.. He titled the show "I HEAR THEM"..

Clyde Lewis intelligently opined,

Today, however, this presumption might no longer hold. Sophisticated neuroimaging machines and brain-computer interfaces detect the electrical activity of neurons, enabling us to decode and even alter the nervous system signals that accompany mental processes. Whereas these advances have a great potential for research and medicine, they pose a fundamental ethical, legal and social challenge: determining whether or under what conditions it is legitimate to gain access to or interfere with another person’s neural activity.

This question has special social relevance because many neurotechnologies have moved away from a medical setting and into the commercial domain. Attempts to decode mental information via imaging are also occurring in court cases, sometimes in a scientifically questionable way.

The danger is in the fact that these newer “stealth” technologies could be used at any time – and the person being targeted would not even know they were being targeted.
This technology could potentially be used against people who object to mandatory vaccination, medical kidnapping, the nationalization of our private health data, the use of toxic chemicals in food, mandatory indoctrination of children in the public education system, mainstream media brainwashing, the collection of information about our religious and political beliefs, the denial of the right to assemble in peaceful protests against the overreaching power of national and state government, to name just a few.
Brain-reading technology can be seen as just another unavoidable trend that erodes a bit more of our personal space in the digital world. But given the sanctity of our mental privacy, we might not be so willing to accept this intrusion. People could, in fact, look at this technology as something that requires the reconceptualization of basic human rights and even the creation of neurospecific rights.

I am sure that if there is any reason to create an addendum to the fourth amendment it would be to detail neurospecific rights. We would have to add that beyond unlawful search and seizure of your effects we would have to declare that any and all neurosearches or mental controlling for interrogation or for any reason should be declared unconstitutional.

The future is now. Or was it then?
When did we get the ability to beam me up Scotty.. or at least hear SCOTTY being told to beam up?
