In the end, I suppose the groundhog may be as reliable or more so than weather professionals ..
But I still find it ridiculous that people treat Phil with any seriousness .. I get that Penn State kids are mostly drunk at the event, and that it's a traditional good time. But for people to believe that the groundhog does or does not see a shadow?? Seriously the people who take it seriously are nuts..
And if Phil predicting an early spring was even right, that isn't great news. These days of earth changes, spring brings severe weather, tornadoes, and misery. Now that will just come earlier than before. Just great...
