ART BELL SAYS NO: NO SHOW COMING!

George Noory breathing a stale sigh of relief tonight..

Art Bell has finally said he will not be coming back to radio..

For months, Art Bell has been teasing fans with potential news that he could come back to radio. Not long ago, he was released from his non compete clause from Premiere Radio. His voice hasn't been heard on radio since October 31, 2010, the final broadcast.. 
But the speculation is now over. The hot air will apparently live on..

He writes on Facebook tonight:

I guess it is time to end any further speculation that I will return to the air anytime soon. I have given (2) very solid offers a lot of thought and have turned them down. My reasons are many, though I am profoundly sad at the current state of the show, both offers would have been direct competition with Coast and anger is the wrong reason to proceed. Also I really do not want to destroy what I built despite it's current state. Asia will be in first grade in the Fall and getting up very early, I would be up late and sleeping late, I would not see much of her or Airyn. Life is short and I want to spend what I have left with my Family. I hope my friends understand...
Message boards  and fan pages have lilt up with commentary about Bell's words.. I even offered my own thoughts on the popular COAST GAB

It appears that closure has finally come to this story.. From rumors of sickness, to rumors that he'd take over the night again.. it's all coming to a quiet end. Art Bell put up the "wind no longer blows" webcam message years ago now.. And the wind no longer blows. The hot air does in fact exist.. 

Maybe Art Bell knows that George Noory, minus the backing of Bell even in a distance, will not be able to thrive.. Or maybe the audience will dive. Sometimes dive bars last generations..

Either way, this is now the silent end of an era on radio. There will be no further Art Bell retirements, because there will be no further Art Bell broadcasts. He made that clear tonight.. 

Cumulus, nah.
Premiere no way.
Sirius, are you serious?

It's over, folks. The show must go on.. but we'll all be asking when we listen, must this show go on?


And in some form of irony, some sick sense of humor.. tonight's George Noory hosted Coast to Coast AM is about suicide and the afterlife..

The airbus came close to crashing over Glasgow..

Media continues to mock the faux UFO hearings in D.C.: DAILY NEWS reports that 'former members of Congress hold weird' UFO hearings 'after the price is right' .. The big story being reported in media is that former members of Congress and other participants are receiving $20,000 each for their appearance.. It's questionable of course.. And one must ask if Bassett is paying for big players to get attention to the UFO issue, or to himself..




DEVELOPING.. The highly pathogenic avian flu (H1N1) virus has been detected at one of the biggest poultry farms in Chitwan in a recent case of bird flu outbreak..

This is a video of the crash at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan.. The crash killed seven.. the video is chilling. And if you ever saw the film THE KNOWING, this scene is very similar to one that takes place in that film..

"Twilight zone weather" across the United States.. Freakish April cold (and lots of heavy snow in places) across the nation.. Iowa...Heavy storms with hail and gusty winds today. 1-4 inches of wet snow Wed Night. ..

It's not just at the Philadelphia house of horrors.. a video released by the anti-abortion group LIVE ACTION finds another abortion clinic staffer saying they've allowed babies to die after failed abortions.. admits they'd leave a baby to struggle for life after failing to abort.. Another video that the group released was from the Bronx, in which a staffer explained how a baby surviving abortion would be placed into a jar of toxic 'solution' to ensure death.. The mistake that is being made is for this issue to be about abortion. This clearly is not abortion, this is beyond it.. there are federal rules in place that protect a baby once it is born--and this issue is about murder as opposed to legal abortion. But don't expect both sides of the issue to treat it like that..
