Fatherly advice

When your child is three, don’t fret too much. Things will change, surely.. Attitudes change.. mood swings get intense.. But the love is still immense.

It’s amazing to have conversations with your son or daughter.. it’s unbelievable to fathom that they have opinions, tastes, wants, desires.. hopes.. and yes, fears. They see shadows and ponder the source, and hear sounds and wonder the location.. They fear what’s under the bed. But deep down, don’t you, too? Whether it’s the childlike reality or the modern day adult version, we still fear the unknown. 

I certainly do..

Ayden is three, going on 30. Still over 20 months until he would start a traditional Kindergarten, but I fear that. 

I fear bullies and I fear violence. I hope we raise Ayden to be himself and listen to his own voice, instead of falling for peer pressure.. I hope my wife and I bring Ayden the best of the world but warn him of the worst..

And I hope and pray to whatever God is above or below that the boy has a life worth remembering.. 

Ayden made me a card at day care the other day. It was a paper cutout of a tie colored by him, with a note inside saying he loves me. He wrote his own name *with help* but was exceptionally proud of it.. I was too. I proudly hung it on the refrigerator (trying to find room around all of the other things he brought him for me and his mommy) .. 

To me Father’s Day is a day of practicality.. Love.. and abundant joy over having a child who hopefully looks up to you and always will.

I plan on singing along with Ayden to songs from Phineas and Ferb episodes to celebrate. I hope we still can do such things when he’s 13 and 33..

It's mucky, murky, and muddy. Rain hasn't let up recently here at HORROR REPORT home base, and with it comes intense humidity causing every part of your body to turn into Soylent Green. But that's the summer--I wish I can find a state where the temperature is 70 all day with, and rainy at night at 50 degrees. Maybe that's my heaven, if heaven exists..

Judging from the news, heaven is not a place on earth. The news.. You be the judge:

The story of Casey Kasem has been fascinating and mostly sad recently.. While now we know where he is, the chances of the world losing this icon is greater.  Media reports now indicate that the star is near death ... but it's at the hands of his own family. Some of that have opted to stop giving Kasem food, water, and medication through his feeding tube. According to the family, Kasem had a wish prior in writing that he did not want to live under the conditions he is in now.. So with that, Kasem's demise is coming. A life will be over.. but his voice will live on in infamy. Each and every time you watch SCOOBY DOO.

After all these years and the mighty western invasion, the liberated Iraq is completely disintegrating again.. Anarchy is the reigning champion now in the 'free' nation and most of the war gains are lost. Perhaps most delicate issues are left classified. I could only imagine the Nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue now as the Obama Administration has to grapple with what to do--should they let it spiral more or try something militarily?  The President wanted to be the man who ended two wars. But now Gulf War II could become Gulf War III.. is the nation ready to fulfill a commitment it made?  Is the neocon crowd set to clean up their mess? Are the Freedom Fries eaters prepared to sacrifice? It's been ten years + since TIME magazine asked if we want this war. We did then, we thought..We even burned DIXIE CHICKS albums to prove it..  after it was over we hated it, and ourselves. But taking a long look in the mirror is not enough after you destroy a nation. Rebuilding is one thing.. but securing something we broke is another. And this place is broken--and apparently breaking further by the day and by the hour..

The sun is suddenly active. First it was two massive X flares, and now a third.. But the weird part of the solar storm coming is that the thrust of it may hit on Friday the 13th. This Friday--the same day the earth will see a full moon. While shockwaves may disrupt GPS systems, I could not even fathom the beauty that people in the extreme North will see when they look to the heavens and see the Northern Lights along with a beautiful full moon. The power of nature at its finest.. But speaking of disruptions: Cell service may also be affected come Friday should the CME be strong enough. On Facebook, the 'kill shot' viewer Ed Dames has suddenly come from the social network coma that he was in over in Ukraine. For years, whether he is a huckster hoaxster or honest purveyor of truth, Dames has said a massive 'kill shot' will hit earth and only people in safe areas will survive. And now with the recent blasts from the sun, the Major has taken back to Facebook to warn his followers again that the kill shot is coming. He is standing by his vision.

NASA is testing a flying saucer like craft device for a Mars landing.. read that again: WE are going to land a flying saucer on Mars. Seriously.. is this cranky comedy or something? We are going to be the UFOs in a UFO flying over the planet Mars.. I don't know if it's irony or just a bitter joke to all of the UFO enthusiasts who believe that circular craft has been flying over the planet Earth for decades..

The devil's in the details. And maybe in the clouds.. This image was shot at a UK rock festival.. There was a heavy thunderstorm and this face-like feature ensued in the clouds. Of course the instant rejection occurred as readers said the image was Photoshopped, but judging from the comment thread on the article, the image was real, as some testify. They say they were there, and saw the devil emerge from the thunderstorm above.. Regardless of its authenticity, the image is creepy..

McDonalds (and no doubt others) fake their photos of they meat-like burgers..  And here's some bitter truths: They use motor oil in honey images, they use tampons in potatos, and glue as milk. And there's more.. Much much more.

She also says she's an adult geek and loved the Ninja Turtles since she was 5. She may not have loved Michael Bay her whole life, but I suppose the Ninja Turtles brought them back together again.

Things of importance from the world at large..

Is that a Spiderman on your building or are you just happy to see me? Apparently, some people in South Korea, are very erect in anger over a SPIDERMAN sculpture appearing on a building. You don't have to look close to see that a well-endowed SPIDEY must have taken too many of those drugs that television commercials show men taking before bathing with women in a flower garden. That's right.. he has an erection, presumably lasting more than four hours.. The artist has been pressured to remove the statue.  While some may laugh at the image and deem it to be less than offensive, consider this fact: The statue was directly above a playground.  Obviously not suitable for all ages--or really any age in my opinion.

Unless you've lived under a rock (or chosen not to watch 99% of TV like me) you have heard of the Long Island medium Theresa Caputo. A few weeks ago at a barbecue, a friend of mine even brought her up and argued about how right and honest she is.. But we now have this from RADAR ONLINE: The publication is reporting that the 'gifted' psychic  is a fraud and her entire act is a hoax. That may not shock those who already doubt the paranormal, but it certainly may harm those mentally who have seen her and believed her when she told grieving family members that she was channeling loved ones.. As for me, when I see the LONG ISLAND medium, I typically think of the psychic from the movie MALL RATS. If you've ever seen it, I am sure you'll remember her for her fame.. Nonetheless: Here is what RADAR says: She does the typical (getting to know the client and then noticing things about them, typical bad psychic stuff..) Then this: RADAR says that at a recent Hershey Pennsylvania event, she 'seemed off' with all of her guesses about people, and appeared to be grasping at straws at many points during the show..  

Wonder if she saw this coming?

But now this: Boko Haram has apparently kidnapped up to 40 young mothers near the same village where the school girls were taken.. Haram also slaughtered hundreds of people in Northeast Nigeria..

Yet ANOTHER story that has a Slenderman tie in is making news today.. we reported hours ago that a girl in Ohio who was fascinated by 'Slenderman' tried to stab her mother.. this after a Wisconsin stabbing a week ago by two 12-year-olds who wanted to visit Slenderman at his forest mansion.. And now this: A shooting occurred Sunday in Las Vegas.. Two right wing extremists yelled "this is a revolution" before they killed two police officers.  Then they ran into a Walmart and a killed a shopper before the wife killed her husband and then herself.. 

The couple reportedly named: Jerad and Amanda Miller (no official confirmation on the names yet). A neighbor told media that they dressed as the JOKER and Harley Quinn... and the Jerald reportedly dressed as Slenderman.....

A manifesto has apparently been found..

This is getting bizarre.. for a few reasons.

First off, this is not the first time the JOKER has been a meme involved in a crime.. nor, obviously, is it the first time that Slenderman has been, either.. 

Consider this: Clyde Lewis' GROUND ZERO radio program had a show on May 1 2014 about Slenderman..  Lewis argued that Slenderman was a modern tulpa and warned that more and more information about Slenderman would make the mainstream.  Lewis may have been on to something..

In a random world of chaos.. this happens

I am always perplexed by the ‘coincidences’ that fill our headlines and litter our histories..

Things that should not happen simply because the rare occasion of them occurring would need stars to line up and miracles (or the opposite) to occur.

One such event made news in Texas.. A head-on collision took place on Road 87 North and FM 2379. Both drivers were pronounced dead.. both drivers, in separate cars, were married.. the husband and wife had their respective lives extinguished at the hands of each other..

There are three children that survive without a mother and father now. A tragic accident.. a strange series of events that caused both to be at the wrong place at the right time.. both now dead at the hands of some force or fate that often destroys people and ruins lives.

With is this yin and yang we call life? What is this series of unfortunate events we call coincidence? Hearts out to the grieving relatives and friends..

But I am still amazed and confused of the chances of this occurring and the fact that it did..

Another Slenderman crime makes headlines

Last week the nation was shocked when two Wisconsin pre-teens attempted to murder their friend by stabbing her 19 times in a forest .. Their defense: They were trying to become the children of Slenderman and wanted to sacrifice someone to do it.. in recent days, people have learned everything they never wanted to know about the fictitious character..

And now: A new crime is just as shocking the media tells us.. and again, a child is using Slenderman as the reason for a stabbing. According to reports from this weekend, an Ohio mom said that her daughter's knife attack was inspired by the net creation Slenderman.  The mother said that her daughter 'was someone else' during the stabbing.. the mother said her daughter had a fascination with Slenderman..  The 13-year-old girl is now in a juvenile detention center..

The girl already had mental issues, according to the mom interviewed..

The HORROR REPORT wrote about the original attempted murder, and said that we hoped the original Slenderman stabbing did not create a pattern or trend.. This new crime is causing some to wonder if it did..

There is one caveat to mention.. I am not really sure if all these teens are just not right in the head or if the news media is trying to cash in on a new trend. The local report on this latest Slenderman stabbing does not clearly tie the girl who stabbed her mother to the horror character, and even further there appeared to be mental problems already.. Unless it's one of the homemade jobs that you can find yourself online, Slenderman does not have a face.. not a feature. He is pale and without any actual facial structure.. So this mom could have mistaken another mask for Slenderman? Perhaps Ghostface.. Michael Myers?  Also this: During the one scene of the news media report on the mom saying her daughter was drawing 'disturbing images' a drawing of anime was shown.. Hardly disturbing or a sign of monsters lurking within..

Also ... did the mother purchase the mask for her daughter with the issues already?I think calm discernment is necessary for this story...

Another Slenderman crime makes headlines

Last week the nation was shocked when two Wisconsin pre-teens attempted to murder their friend by stabbing her 19 times in a forest .. Their defense: They were trying to become the children of Slenderman and wanted to sacrifice someone to do it.. in recent days, people have learned everything they never wanted to know about the fictitious character..

And now: A new crime is just as shocking the media tells us.. and again, a child is using Slenderman as the reason for a stabbing. According to reports from this weekend, an Ohio mom said that her daughter's knife attack was inspired by the net creation Slenderman.  The mother said that her daughter 'was someone else' during the stabbing.. the mother said her daughter had a fascination with Slenderman..  The 13-year-old girl is now in a juvenile detention center..

The girl already had mental issues, according to the mom interviewed..

The HORROR REPORT wrote about the original attempted murder, and said that we hoped the original Slenderman stabbing did not create a pattern or trend.. This new crime is causing some to wonder if it did..

There is one caveat to mention.. I am not really sure if all these teens are just not right in the head or if the news media is trying to cash in on a new trend. The local report on this latest Slenderman stabbing does not clearly tie the girl who stabbed her mother to the horror character, and even further there appeared to be mental problems already.. But things got a bit weirder.. during the program, Lewis also had a live online broadcast of a clown.. A camera was fixated on a lone clown doll locked in a room in the radio studio. This is not news of the strange but it's news of the bad: At this point now, half of the United States makes less than $27,000 a year .. There is that troubling economic reality, along with 15 other signs brought to you by the never positive ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG worth reading to believing..  The 'great recession' was a depression and there's little evidence I can see to say we're out of it.

A camp for boys that allows them to be girls has been photo documented by SLATE.. Three year olds wearing heals and wearing makeup..  The camp does not define itself as gay or transgender, but is being proclaimed as a sign of the future.. the death of sexual identity and the merging together of both genders into one..
What I say: the makers of the world actually want transhumanism. Anything they can get to accomplish that goal will work for them. I believe all people regardless of size shape sex or secrets should be given basic forms of respect.. I frankly could care less who wants to get married or who wants a sex change. But a three-year-old knowing they were born the wrong gender? I question the parents more than the ethics of allowing a child to decide.. did the parents coerce, or decide for them?  I also say: The death of a civilization is upon us. No, not because of dying morals--you can't look at the Christian crusades and tell me they were anything less than satanic--but because of dying birth rates. Really.  US birth rates are a record low.. Hell, even teen birth rates are, too.. Look to Japan to see how cultures can evolve: Younger people there have stopped having sex and the adult population has decided to wear diapers everywhere. In Russia, Vlad the Impaler Putin was telling people to say home for a national day of sex. It's not the moral collapse.. there never were really morals anyway.. it's the changing scientific reality .. Transhumanism is coming.. The merging of genders is first. The merging of human with machine is eventual..

Is this where we want to go with science? The erasing of memories? Scientists have proclaimed to have done it with rats! Would humans be next? Are we already? It would almost make me wonder if Alzheimer's is a manmade disease!? Certainly that sound far-fetched, but so does the actual news of science erasing the memories in the brain of a rat.. So there you go: erase your painful memories. Also.. the good ones.. also all of them. Just be a vacant vessel of nothing, where human emotion is meaningless and the purpose of life is lost. That's the future if we erase memories.. Memories are meant to be shared, had.. and often lamented. And yes, painful memories should serve a purpose, too. A witness who sees a murder and then can't remember it in court is pointless.. or even scarier, a woman who is given a date rate drug that erases the memory of the rape.. don't tell me rapists wouldn't want to get their disgusting hands on that serum..

There have been a number of examples lately of life imitating the plot of a gruesome horror flick.. the latest example of that comes from the Australia where a 35-year-old man is on trial for brandishing a chainsaw and chasing government employees around .. He was reportedly bullied by co-workers at the Department of Human Services in Greenway. His choice of revenge was to get a chainsaw and chase around the bullying bureaucrats..  No one was hurt. The man's defense: He wanted to make others afraid..

A real horror movie (not reality) news: A Cannes horror movie IT FOLLOWS has secured United States distribution.  The movie is centered on a teenager who is plagued by scary visions and the sense something is following her after she has a sexual encounter. The movie reportedly has a 'haunting evocation of adolescent anxiety and yearning.' I like that saying..  Some more people are saying it will be the best independent horror film in a decade..

Justin Bieber is finding himself embroiled in a new career challenge: His over-abundant use of the N word during his mid-teenage years. Back when everyone thought he was cute and Christian, the soon to be star was yuck yucking it up making jokes at the expense of black people .. His latest embarrassment is singing 'one less lonely N----' .. Beeb's team actually released this one. TMZ reports that Bieber showed these videos to Will Smith and Usher a year ago. Apparently a lot of these videos exist and someone has been trying to extort the boy wonder .. Now Beeb is fighting back: He will release his racist rants himself, I suppose.
