Weekend host John B Wells is sitting in for George Noory tonight on the show Coast to Coast a.m. And he is doing something that has not been done since Art Bell hosted: Open lines with no call screener.
Ever since Bell left the program to George Noory, call screeners have been included with open lines on the program. It appears that tonight, Wells will have four hours of unadulterated open lines, something he is calling naked calls.
How open they are is yet to be seen, and most likely the 10 second delay button will be ready. But it is fascinating that he has gotten so much attention over this program, as it has been so long since true open lines were actually done.
