Lightning, earthquakes, and locusts oh my

The Pope resigned and lightning struck St. Peter's.
The Pope retired and an earthquake hit his villa.
It's almost Passover and now LOCUSTS are descending on Egypt, with Israel being placed on alert..
Things do get weird ... don't they?
