Ground Zero radio host to enter surgery later today for tumor on his kidney

The source of the headline comes from Ground Zero radio host himself: Clyde Lewis. According to Lewis on his program the other night, and his Facebook account today, a tumor has been found on his kidney and he is set to enter surgery later today, forcing him to take a hiatus from his radio program until he recovers.

Lewis also posted this message on his Facebook account this morning:

Summer nights.. fireflies.. and the lack of them.

The solstice.. and the longest day of the year is upon us. 

This is something magical about summer nights.. the notion that it doesn't get dark until 9pm or so in the middle of the summer season adds to the mystery. 

Also adding to the strange feeling of joy, love, teenage fun, and laughter: Those fast cars with the tops down, motorcycles without helmets, and fireflies littering the night sky.

But I noticed something different this year: Less fireflies than normal. It could just be my little place on the planet lacking them so far.. maybe not enough heat has broiled and boiled the landscape yet. But by now?? 

We would have sees them..

I can only speculate on the cause. Bees are collapsing due to --something> Monsanto? Other animals are having a tough time escaping whatever affliction is being placed on them by whomever. So if fireflies are next, just as the monarch butterfly started to be about two years ago, it would only make logical sense. I certainly hope not.

I recall summer nights long ago, living in my little home town of Centralia, PA, when I would be accompanied in my childhood by my then teenage brother and sister, with their friends, and run into a large field where hundreds of fireflies just sort of hung out all night. I did the whole childhood collection of fireflies in jars.. and now? Those jars are empty.

Those fireflies just don't seem to be there anymore..

But summer is.

The man who engraved former New York City Mayor Ed Koch's tombstone has apologized for putting on the wrong birth date. Tommy Flynn, the owner of Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Services, told NBC's New York affiliate that he inadvertently listed Koch's birth year as 1942 instead of 1924... More here..

That's right.. the website which has been 'coming back' for over a week now started with a question mark..

Then came the white exclamation point.
And now.. for some reason it has been changed to a yellow punctuation mark.

Is Keith Rowland just having fun at the expense of so many waiting for content? Is there some strange hidden meaning in the colors and points being put on the site?
Or maybe the goal is simply word of mouth.. tons of hits --on a website that hosts no words but instead just a punctuation mark.

Tasmanian devils: An Australian woman now speaks in a French accent

The rare but existent foreign accent syndrome strikes again. 


According to MotherNatureNetwork, only about 100 cases have ever been reported of the strange syndrome.. 

Rowe was quoted as saying, "It makes me so angry because I am Australian" .. 

It leaves one to wonder this: Perhaps, just perhaps, if reincarnation is how things work in the universe, we've all been through numerous nations in life and many accents .. perhaps a tiny percentage of us keep that memory in our soul and it gets conjured up in a new life. 

OR we could go with the scientific 'experts' who say that it all boils down to 'coincidence'..

A few days ago this website reported that Artbell.com was coming back.

The former radio show host himself announced that something was going to occur on that website, and that it was under construction, and to watch for more.. Around that same time the website appeared with an all black background and one single white question mark.

No word yet officially from anyone on what exactly Bell is planning to do with this website, but there are rumors rampant online that the former webmaster of Arbell.com is once again at the helm..

My wife challenged me to do something: Write and post nothing but positive articles this week on this website. I read the news today.. oh my. And I cannot do it. Sorry dear, there just seems to be nothing good no where--yes that's a double negative and the incorrect use of grammar, but a double negative was needed to explain just how rabid bad news is.. That may be tough to do, though, especially since the President is busy defending himself saying he is not Dick Cheney ..
