TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 3 2013
John McCain and Mizz Graham both stated yesterday that they were not in favor of 'boots on the ground' in Syria.. funny enough, though, the war resolution that Congress is about to vote on actually authorizes boots on the ground.. Looking like a fool with your boots on the ground, Stinky..
Syria's Assad warns of a regional war in the Middle East if the United States attacks .. wonder if he warned John Kerry about that over their dinner..?
We have seen this story before.. we plan a war before the Congress tells the Chief Executive to become the Commander in Chief. While we know what's in the cards, perhaps information like this will one day prove this run-up to Syria is as convoluted as the Iraq buildup in 2003: Intelligence reports show that United States officials knew about the nerve-gas attack in Syria three days before it happened! And then 1,400 innocent lives were taken..
But if Congress does not deliver the victory he wants this week, then...? Ask John Kerry.. he said that Obama has the right to strike regardless of the vote in the Legislative Branch.. Hypocrisy: It's what for dinner..
Feeling like 2003 all over again.. A woman was VIOLENTLY arrested in Philadelphia during anti-Syria war protest.. Emily Yates' sick crime in the city of former brotherly love was playing a banjo. According to the report on the matter, Yates is an Gulf War II veteran and was shouting that we 'live in a police state' when police were arresting her for playing a banjo under a tree in a public area.. God Bless America. As the protesters' collective banjo beat goes on, the drums of war are always louder..
Some more Syria headlines:
Just when you thought the world wasn't nuts enough, in comes a second play from Dennis Rodman.. he is heading back to North Korea for another round of his statesman like meeting.. It's the highly reported 'Basketball Diplomacy Trip' .. The last time that Rodman went to Pyongyang, Lil Kim threatened the United States with a direct military and nuclear strike.. Let's hope the former Bull delivers less bull this time, or whatever he is there to do anyway, does it better. According to his own statement on the matter, Rodman is just there 'to meet my friend Kim'.. More proof that reality doesn't need fiction anymore..
What strange eyes you have.. a reflection, or a mutant shape shifter? Video shows CNN reporter's eyes morphing on live TV.. While it's most likely just the product of lights in front of him flashing, it made for a creepy two seconds of news reporting..
IBM looks to build 'brain in a box'.. Will Justin Timberlake write a song about that on SNL?
Man meets machine, and becomes it: HUMAN BRAIN CONNECTS TO THE INTERNET --the future of humankind is transhumanism.. for better or worse, we are building the perfect machine so that we never die. Wonder what types of problems will hijack human's desire to live forever..?
Back under the dome: CBS back on the air in big cities after deal struck with Time Warner..
Get ready to hear WAY TOO MUCH about the FIFTY SHADES OF GREY movie being made: Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam cast as lead roles..
DUKE OF HORRORS: John Schneider to produce new horror movie .. "It stars Kane Hodder, who was Jason Vorhees, Don Shanks, who was Michael Myers, R.A.
