The USGS says that mini quakes have led to the booms in the night around Clintonville and surrounding towns in Wisconsin.. But residents question the theory.. Some heard booms long before the 1.5 quake was detected..
Town officials say that the 'mystery is solved'.. They also told residents that they are safe..
Some who heard those pronouncements aren't so sure..
