Here they go again

A year ago Accuweather predicted a snowy and stormy winter for the United States. While some places did in fact see some treacherous weather, it became known as the year without a winter. Warmth caused Cherry Blossoms to bloom early.. no snow caused spring and summer droughts to worsen.. the East Coast saw nearly no snow. And then came summer.

Accuweather is making its prediction again: Another snowy winter is coming again, the weather forecasting company says..

Analysts are already raising eyebrows on such an early winter forecast.

Here is how Accuweather itself writes the forecast
"The I-95 cities could get hit pretty good. It's a matter of getting the cold to phase in with the huge systems that we are going to see coming out of the southern branch of the jet stream this year," AccuWeather.com Lead Long-Range Forecaster Paul Pastelok said.
The cold is expected to phase with the big storms during January and February with the potential for large snowstorms to make headlines and create travel headaches in the major cities.
We will see how true or false...snow lovers hope. Snow haters hope not. Will it be the year without a winter again? It certainly was not the year without a summer...
