Some political observers may think this year's Republican party is already a disaster, given comments about rape and others skinny dipping in ancient Middle Eastern seas, but a real disaster may be set to unfold just in time for next week's Florida Republican Convention.
Weather experts are watching an unfolding storm, still a tropical swirl in the Atlantic. If the storm forms and gets a name, it will be Isaac.
Yesterday, Accuweather forecaster Henry Margusity said he thinks that Isaac will form and potentially impact the United States.
Today, the real possibility that the storm could hit just in time for the GOP convention in Tampa is being thought about.
Ironically, about a week ago, ABC NEWS reported on the chance of hurricanes hitting during the GOP party in Tampa, saying it would be a good possibility. That was before the storm to be known as Isaac began to churn up ocean waters. And now new models are out of where Isaac could go. Maybe model runs bring the storm directly to Florida.. Accuweather.com is also reporting that the storm should be gaining strength over coming days.
A storm during the convention could be a disaster. With the amount of people coming to Tampa for the GOP bash, any storm regardless of strength or magnitude, could cause fear and panic.
New evidence shows that animals can sense when hurricanes will hit. Will Republicans?
Next week could be a wild one.. politics and weather, both combining to bring drama to Florida. Watching the situation closely. Stay tuned..
