The forgotten war? What war?

Perhaps America has war fatigue? Too much conflict and not enough time? Too many horrible stories and instead of paying attention we just zone out and pretend that they don't exist?

Either way the AP has an almost chilling account about how the war Afghanistan went from Obama's war of necessity to a forgotten one..

It's almost 12 years since we began the conflict in that nation after 9/11.. 12 years--over a decade. And since then Americans have tuned out of reality of war and turned on reality TV shows..

All the world's a stage, but Afghanistan lost its audience.

What does that say about the war? The media? What does that say about you, me, and everyone else?

Quite a bit..
